Ruleset

  • Super Sneak, all monsters have Sneak ability.
    • Sneak ability: melee monster can attack the enemy in the last position from any position.
  • Mana cap.
  • Can use elements Earth, Death, and Dragon.

My Lineup and strategy

We will use Summoner Immortalist which can reduce magic damage by 50%, so we can focus on dealing with melee and archer attacks.
Because of the Super Sneak ruleset, in this battle, we will use tankers with the greatest defensive ability on the back which can reduce melee monster damage and range by 50% the Mycelic Infantry. The final problem was just determining the tanker at the front, we decided to use a monster with high armor to face in case the enemy brought many range monsters. All melee attacks will focus on the back while magic and archer attacks will focus on the front.
We will discuss this strategy in more detail at the end, after first reviewing this battle review.

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
Immortalis, Summoner. Can decrease enemy HP by -1. Have Void, and Shatter abilitiesWith Void ability can decrease the enemy magic attack by 50%, Shatter ability will destroy all armor from the monster we hit with only 1 attack.
Legionnaire Alvar 1st position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Void Armor, Giant Killer, and Demoralize. The reason we use this monster is because it has the ability Demoralize which can reduce damage from melee monsters by 1. Place it in the second position because we predict that the enemy will focus attacking our monster in the last position because of the ruleset, but if the enemy somehow use magic or range I hope with high armor this monster can hold for a while.
Disintegrator,2nd position, attacker. Has the ability Demoralize, Trample, and Knock Out.To further reduce damage from melee enemy monsters we use this monster Demoralize ability. Have Trample ability, after killing the enemy monster it will attack the monster behind. Knock Out ability only works if we bring a monster with Stun ability, in this battle we do not use this ability.
Queen Mycelia, 3th position, attacker. Has the ability Armor, Amplify, and Triage. We put this monster in this position to make sure it's safe from the enemy attack because this monster easily dies. Triage ability will heal our monster not in the first position, for this battle we want this monster to heal our tanker in the last position, Armor ability will add armor +2 for more defense. We not use Amplify ability in this battle.
Grund, 4th position, attacker. Has the ability Double Strike and Trample. This is our main attacker each round will attack twice (Double Strike)with a total damage of 8. Trample ability same ability as Disintegrator. This monster's defense is not good the speed is not high and not have any defense ability so we put it here and hope no monster attacks it.
Arkemis the Bear, 5th position, attacker. Has the ability Shield, Halving, and Forcefield. This monster will give +2 armor combined with Queen Mycelia will add +4 armor to all of our monsters, Halving ability is useful in this battle because can cut the enemy damage by half if the enemy hit by this monster. Forcefield ability makes this monster only receive 1 damage if attacked by the enemy with 5 or more damage, beside of that this monster has high HP, suitable to become a tanker.
Mycelic Infantri, 6th position, attacker. Has the ability Shield and Giant Killer.Put this here as a main tanker because it has Shield ability which will decrease the enemy melee and range damage by 50%. The weakness is only the Poison ability and magic attack, because I put it behind I think will be safe from magic attack., I hope the enemy does not bring Uraeus monster with Poison ability. Giant Killer ability will make double damage if attacks a monster with 10 or more mana cost.

The Battle

The enemy brings an Astral Summoner which can provide Dodge ability to all its monsters (increases the ability to dodge melee attacks and range by 25%). And can also revive dead monsters 1x and can reduce the enemy's armor by 2.
I just noticed that the average speed of the enemy monsters was low, so I think we can still hit them without missing too much.
We and the enemy both bring 2 monsters that can increase armor.

Round 1:
The enemy brings the Coeurl Lurker monster which has good dodging abilities with its speed of 4 and Dodge ability. It can be seen that in this round many of our monsters' attacks were missed, however, Coeurl Lurker was successfully hit by several of our monsters and left its HP at 5. Because it was hit by our monster Arkemis The Bear, the damage from Coeurl Lurker only remained at 1 because it was affected by the Halving ability.
The enemy carries 1 Inspire ability which can increase melee damage by 1 and Demoralize 1 monster. Meanwhile, we bring monsters with the Demoralize ability of 2. So there really isn't any addition.
What's unique here is that we can see the enemy's Harklaw because he has the Immunity ability and is not affected by the Demoralize effect (negative effect). The damage from melee enemy monsters affected by the Super Sneak ruleset has total damage of 8. While our monster has a total damage of 15 (double damage from Grund of 6), Queen Mycelia, who should attack the monster in first position, also attacks Coeurl Lurker because this monster has the Taunt ability. (all monsters will attack this monster if they can).
No monsters died in this round.

  • Round 2
The enemy Coeurl Lurker died in this round being attacked by Grund but was resurrected by the enemy summoner Astral. and died again being attacked by our monster Queen Mycelia, because this is a magic attack it cannot miss even though it only has speed 1.
Windeku, which was hit by an attack from Arkemis The Bear, had its damage reduced from 2 to 1. On our side, none of the monsters died. Our monster Queen Mycelia restores the HP of the Mycelic Infantry.

  • Round 3
All our melee monsters in positions 2-6 attack Windeku get a Thorns effect and get 2 damage back.
Our monster Queen Mycelia now attacks the enemy Arkemis the Bear in the first place because no monster with Taunt ability again. At the end of the round Windeku had 4 HP left while our Mycelic infantry had 7 HP left.

  • Round 4:
Windeku's enemy was attacked by our Grund and died, Grund with his Double Strike ability and Trample, immediately attacked the Ravenhood Warden and destroyed his armor. I don't know why but usually Trample ability when working only attacking the enemy behind.
The enemy Ravenhood dies under attack by the Mycelic Infantry. With the death of Ravenhood we can see that all damage from melee enemy monsters is reduced by 1 due to the loss of the Inspire effect.
Queen Mycelia healed Mycelic Infantry again in this round. At the end of the round, the Legionnaire Alvar had 2 HP left.

  • Round 5:
All of our melee monsters in positions 2-6 attack Harklaw and leave his HP at 1 at the end of the round. Likewise, our Legionnaire Alvar has 1 HP left. In this round, Queen Mycelia heals Grund because it is the monster whose HP has been reduced the most.

  • Round 6:
Our monster Arkemis the Bear attacks Harklaw and kills him. With Harklaw's death the effect of Demoralize disappears so all our melee monsters have their damage increased by 1.
The enemy Arkemis the Bear killed our monster Legionnaire Alvar.
After receiving several attacks, Arkemis the Bear was finally killed by our monster Mycelic Infantry, and the victory become ours.

Did your Strategy Work?

Our strategy is working well:

  • Demoralize reduces damage to all enemy monsters. Almost all enemy monsters are melee type.
  • With the addition of +4 armor, the enemy finds it difficult to penetrate our armor defense. We can see Legionnaire Alvar who was attacked many times by the enemy Archemist but still survived until the 6th round.
  • With the Triage ability from Queen Mycelia, our monster Mycelic Infantry can survive until the end of the battle.
  • One of the factors that determines our victory is the existence of Shield ability from Mycelic Infrantri.

The enemy added +4 armor too from Ravenhood and Bear but we easily destroyed it with the Shatter ability from our summoner. Our monsters missed a lot when hitting enemy monsters because the enemy Summoner Astral gave Dodge ability (increased the chance to evade enemy melee and range damage by 50%), but we still managed to win this battle because even though the enemy monsters all their attacks hit our monsters, the damage was only small, so our monsters could survive for a long time. The enemy monster only managed to kill 1 of our monsters until the end of the battle and relies on the Coeurl Lurker's dodging ability to face our monsters while we rely on the damage and Heal ability.
