Ruleset

  • Back to Basic ruleset, all monsters lose all abilities.

  • Holy Protection, all monsters have Divine Shield ability.

    • Divine Shield ability, the first time the monster receives the attack will receive 0 damage / ignore the damage. This effect will last, even after the monster dies and is resurrected back again.
  • Counterspell ruleset, all monsters have the magic reflect ability.

    • Magic Reflect ability, when hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker, and deals damage equivalent to the attacker's damage divided by 2, rounded up.
  • Has mana Cap 58

  • Can use the element of Fire, Nature, and Dragon.

My Lineup and strategy

Tips and strategies we can use :

  • Because of the ruleset Holy Protection, we must Focus fire on attacking 1 enemy monster with all of our monsters, the first hit will ignore the damage, so if we attack several monsters in the first round many monsters will not get damage.
  • With the Counterspell ruleset, we can assume that the enemy will use range attack only.
  • In the Back to Basic ruleset position of the monster is very important This is some strategy we can use :
    • First, select a high-damage monster with good HP and armor if possible, and the next stat we must look at is speed.
    • Put a monster with armor in the front, the higher HP and armor in the first position, the less in 2nd, etc.
    • If the monsters do not have armor we considered the higher HP and speed move to the front.

For this battle, we will use the Dragon element, because the summoner can decrease the enemy range damage by -1. with the ruleset Counterspell, we assume that the enemy will bring many range monsters.
This is our Line up :

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
Quix The Devious, SummonerCan decrease enemy monster magic speed and range damage by -1
Djinn Chwala, 1st position. We put this monster in the first position because of High armor and HP he has. 4 Damage is great too, hope can hit the enemy HP.
Chaos Dragon, 2nd position.Yes I know this monster is magic and will get damage every time it attack because of the ruleset Counterspell, but the magic damage, HP, and armor are great, I think this monster will hold long enough if the enemy brings many monsters with high armor but small HP this monster will destroy the monster easily.
Lava Launcher. 3rd position. This is the range monster with great damage, we put it in the 3rd position because of the High armor, The HP is not that high though.
Supply Runner, 4th position.Because this monster does not have any armor but has good speed so we put it in this position. to protect weaker monsters.
Countess Sinash 5th position.Okay I think I make a mistake for this monster position. With high damage of 4 but low speed and HP, it should put it in the last position. I don't remember why I put it in the 5th position.
Gem Meteor 6th position. It should put it in the 5th position because have higher speed and HP than Countess Sinash.

The Battle

  • Round 1 :
The battle started with buff and debuff, as usual.
In this round, all our monsters attacked the enemy monster in the first position Coeurl Lurker, and were killed by our Djinn Chwala in this round. The enemy summoner although having high speed but makes the attack become scattered everywhere they attack Countess Sinash and Lava Launcher for the first time but don't damage our monster.

  • Round 2 :
The enemy Tinderlock dies in this round you can see how effective our focus fire strategy is because the enemy randomly attacks our monster no monster dies until round 2.

  • Round 3 :
In this round, the enemy Lava Launcher dies attacked by Chaos Dragon. Our monster Countess Sinash dies attacked randomly by the enemy Ash Mirage.

  • Round 4 :
The enemy Ash Mirage and Mantoid die in this round.

  • Round 6 :
In this round, the enemy Countess Sinash because this is a monster with range attack can't attack and only receive damage and is finally killed by our Chaos Dragon.

Focus Fire VS Scattershot, Did your Strategy Work?

Yes, the strategy work, The focus fire strategy Quickly destroys the enemy tanker one by one while the enemy monsters all have Scattershot (randomly attack our monsters) due to the summoner ability, it's having difficulty killing our monster.
Although we make a mistake in positioning the Queen Sinash, I think the enemy makes a greater mistake by using the summoner with Scattershot ability, although it boosts the speed to +2. I think the enemy wants to boost the speed of their monsters so our attack has difficulty hitting their monster.

Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to review my battle report. I appreciate your efforts and would be grateful if you could provide me with feedback on any mistakes you find by leaving a comment.
