Rebellion Sneak Peak

Hello Splinterfans!

This week we have had another sneak peak into some of the Rebellion cards and I have been trying to get a feel for them and see which ones I want and might use.

Ulund Overseer is looking like a very formidable tank with huuuuuge health and shield. He is looking like a common monster and I am thinking how I would take him down. Probably try to use the shatter ability for the shield, but the huge health could prove troublesome.

Pirate of Eight looks a cool and powerful monster with reach ability, combined with blast, that could prove pretty powerful. As the untamed are leaving modern, we need some cool monsters to replace them with.

Croire is look quite interesting with the high health score and speed. The reasonable mana cost is quite good and it could be quite useful with its heal ability too!

I heard also that the training ability is getting buffed, so this will be a much more useful ability going forward so giving attacking buffs to monsters will become more common.

Chaos Golem is another great looking tank that reminds me of Forgotten One from the fire deck with the awesome retaliate ability particularly. He is quite fast and a very strong 5 melee attack is looking very nice.

Mar Toren Seeker looks very impressive with just a 4 mana cost. He looks quite fast with a high health score with the snipe ability could come in very handy.

Moxian Rebel is another 4 mana magic monster with camouflage ability which reminds me of Djinn Biljka who also has magic attack with camouflage. However Moxian Rebel has also the training ability so is a cheap costing training monster.

Redwyrm Dragon is nother magic monster but quite a high mana cost of 9, but it has some amazing stats. Very fast, like Djinn Oshannus, but it has some huge health and shield, plus flying and stun ability! Those would come in pretty handy in many rulesets I think.

I see this is another monster with the immunity ability which will be very helpful with those poison rulesets.

Runeseer Sevaya has some awesome abilities, the cleanse and protect abilities at level 1 for this legendary will make him very useful. Especially for those poison rulesets and possibly combined with Redwyrm above. These are some useful dragon monsters by the looks of it. The repair ability would be nice to also rebuild shield, so I can imagine Runeseer being very sought after overall, even though it has no attack, but combined with some monster with the training ability, especially now the ability has been buffed.

Gobalano Soldier is one of the first sneak peak monsters we saw and he will be a great sneak attack monster and that shatter ability will come in handy if we have lots of shield in the rebellion set.

Infernal Firestorm is another high mana magic attack monster which could be a useful tank. I like that it has the weaken ability that could slow down your opponents as the melee attack seems quite strong so far in the rebellion set that we have seen.

This also has the flank ability that will also prove to be a formidable buff in the game!

Chaos Animator is another no attack monster that you will want to combine with a training (weapons) ability monster who has some great stats for just 3 mana. The magic void I think will make this monster very useful to repel those magic attacks.

Anasth Soothsayer is another magic attack monster who only has 1 magic attack, but has some impressive abilities that I think make it attractive. I do like the cleanse ability, this will make this card a must-have to have in your deck to assist with those poison rulesets.

The heal ability is another great bonus to this card that will make it very attractive too.

Very exciting is Zeddica, who is the first dual-element summoner that I have seen. I can't imagine how it is going to be to be able to choose between death and water cards with this summoner. What other dual-element summoners will there be?

This is a major change to the gameplay that is very exciting!

The final sneak peak is Prophet Rosa. This is another HUGE change to the gameplay as Prophet Rosa is the first Tactics Summoner where you can decide which buff to give once your opponent's team has been revealed. This means Splinterlands is no more an auto-battler!?

I am also curious how this new summoner will affect those botting and does it give an advantage back to human players at all?

Thanks for reading.
