Joining The Rebellion - Deck Upgrade!

Hello Splinterfans!

Today I have taken a look at my deck and the market and decided it was time to make some moves in the market to add more rebellion cards to my deck.

rebellion fire deck

At the moment I am only concentrating on my alt account which plays only with level 1 cards, so it doesn't cost too much to get yourself a nice rebellion deck if you want one.

These 10 fire deck cards cost me just $6,35 which is pretty decent I think. I hope that I will also be able to utilise some of the cards more in brawls too.

At the moment my alt account has reached Diamond II in the wild league which is astonishing really considering that apart from some soulbound cards, he has only level 1 cards to play with. If I was to play only this deck, there would be no way I could get so high in modern!

With the addition of more rebellion cards, I hope it will improve my deck some more and give me more options.

summoner selection can be tricky

I have already upgraded my rebellion summoners except for Arkane, so selecting a summoner can be tricky. I do not think there has been a strong power-creep with the rebellion set, so usually I like to stick with selections that I can rely on which might not be the best tactic.

I am still trying to get used to the new cards, the design, abilities and which ones have meta. Usually if an opponent uses a certain card from rebellion, I notice it more. Using a whole deck of rebellion cards doesn't happen very often like I did here.

This is probably because of some of the powerful chaos legion cards and riftwatchers that still have the meta in the game. Not to mention some of the glad cards if you have them.

I added 9 life deck cards to my collection and it cost me less than $5! $4,96 to be exact, which is again pretty good going I think.

My favorite deck and most played is probably the water deck. I also made some new additions there and it set me back the most as there were a couple of more pricey cards there.

rebellion water deck

At $7,83, it still isn't a huge amount for 11 cards, although this is only level 1. If you want a maxed out water rebellion deck, it will cost quite a bit. I will probably look at some gold level rebellion cards for my main once I know which ones are the best to use first.

Summary

Rebellion cards are keeping their value, despite being in the game for a while now. Mostly a few legendaries are appearing alot in some line ups, but also many with the training ability seem very popular so far.

I think once the next set rotate out of modern, the rebellion set might come more into its own and therefore I want to start to prepare for when the cards are in more demand.

I have currently 72 rebellion cards in my alt account and they have a list price of $58, which is not too bad for so many cards. I still have a few of the more pricier cards to buy and I don't have any dragons yet, so hopefully they will come down abit and I can pick them up soon.

How is your rebellion collection doing?
