En Splinterlands las oportunidades están ahí, depende de nosotros aprovecharlas o no, y justamente de eso es que voy a hablarles en este post de hoy, donde les traigo una especie de tutorial-guía sobre como aprovechar esas oportunidades.

Uno de los primeros cambios que llegaron con las actualizaciones es que el juego se ha vuelto enteramente meritócrata, ya que ahora ganar o no depende totalmente de tu habilidad como jugador y de tus posibilidades de ganar, lo que a largo plazo solo hará que la mayoría de jugadores mejoren sus habilidades y se vuelva mas competitivo el ecosistema.

Justo por eso tengo que decirte desde ya que esta estrategia no es una ganancia segura en prácticamente ningún sentido, ya que para ganar recompensas deberás ganar partidas, así que si no logras mantener al menos un 55% de winrate en tus batallas te sugiero que veas mis otros post donde tengo tutoriales de todo tipo que te ayudaran a mejorar como jugador y luego de eso si empezar a pensar en estas estrategias para ganar mas recompensas.

La teoria: Aprovechando al maximo las oportunidades

Todos sabemos que en Splinterlands hay muchas formas distintas de ganar recompensas, la mas conocida son las batallas clasificatorias y sus cofres de recompensa diaria y de temporada, y es ahi donde pondremos el primer punto de enfoque. Luego vamos a enfocarnos en los torneos y por ultimo en las brawls con nuestro clan. Todo esto ahora es posible gracias al sistema de rentas de SPS.

Y es que si no tienes los SPS propios para completar los requisitos de los grandes torneos simplemente no puedes jugarlos, pero con las rentas de SPS eso si es posible, pero la pregunta es: ¿Eso es rentable?

La respuesta va a depender de ti como jugador. Mas abajo lo explico a detalle.

The theory: Making the most of opportunities

We all know that in Splinterlands there are many different ways to earn rewards on the game, the most known for every player are the qualifying battles and their daily and seasonal reward chests, and off course, the SPS rewards, and that's where we will put the first point of focus. Then we will focus on tournaments and finally on brawls with our clan. All this is now possible thanks to the SPS rental system.

If you don't have the staked SPS to complete the requirements of the big tournaments on the game you simply can't play them, but with the SPS rentals it is now possible, but the question is: Is it profitable?

The answer will depend on you as a player. I explain it in detail below.

La practica: ¡Vamos a jugar!

Lo primero a tener en cuenta es la preparacion, si como mi caso, eres un jugador que renta. Si tienes cartas y SPS en propiedad saltate este primer paso. Si no, debes primero tener claro a que nivel de juego estas apuntando, para determinar que cartas vas a necesitar, a que nivel y cuanto SPS deberas rentar, en mi caso estoy jugando en Bronce-Plata porque estoy con el tiempo medido, asi que mi objetivo es un mazo entero que sea muy competitivo y que este entre esos niveles. Cada quien tiene su propia forma de jugar asi que recomendarte que cartas usar, ademas de que hara que el post dure un dia entero, no te servira demasiado, pues es muy seguro que tu forma de usar las cartas sea diferente a la mia. De todas maneras en este link puedes encontrar diferentes mazos que he armado en Peakmonsters.
En mi caso rente 6000 SPS por un total de 294 DEC (este alquiler dura 7 dias obligatorios) y un set de cartas peculiar, pues me toco ranura dorada en mi brawl, por el cual termine pagando 2158.694 DEC para rentarlas por 2 dias. Ademas termine pagando 12 SPS y 31 DEC como FEE para un total de 7 torneos distintos a los que me inscribi.

En total fueron 2483.694 DEC + 12 SPS, lo cual para este nivel es bastante caro, pero eso se debe a la ranura que me toco, porque hay cartas doradas que a nivel plata ya empiezan a ser caras de alquilar.

Hago esto porque las brawls en mi clan nos generan en promedio 24 SPS cada una, junto a unos 2500 meritos. Y ademas las batallas siempre son entretenidas porque ademas de poder usar las Gladius siempre aparecen unos rulesets muy locos en esas batallas.
Para las clasificatorias tambien depende totalmente de las victorias que logres, en promedio en esos 2 dias puedes obtener cerca de 30 SPS si ganas muchas partidas, y los cofres ya todos sabemos que son un misterio y mucho mas ahora, pero sin duda todo lo que obtengas de ellos seran ganancias a futuro, sobre todo las cartas soulbound.
Ahora hablando de los torneos, y especificamente de los que yo me inscribi, tenian una recompensa maxima de 344 SPS + 2700 DEC + 3 Packs Chaos Legion, todo esto suma aproximadamente unos 12.5$, lograr la recompensa maxima supone ganar los 7 torneos, lo cual claramente es algo complicado, por eso hay que esforzarse al maximo y tener un set de cartas realmente competitivo, pero de cualquier forma, solamente la ganancia de los torneos representa un x3 de la inversion que hicimos, y recuerda que la renta de SPS dura 7 dias, asi que podrias jugar torneos todos esos dias. El objetivo que debes tener es quedar al menos, entre los 32 mejores de cada torneo, y con eso te aseguro que vas a obtener ganancias, teniendo siempre en cuenta que cuanto mas arriba mejor y que el exito total es ganar el torneo.

The practice: Let's play!

The first thing to keep in mind to get success on this strategy is the preparation, if like me, you are a rental player. If you own cards and have enough staked SPS, skip this first step. If not, you must first be clear about what level of play you are aiming for, to determine what cards you will need to rent on the market, at what level and how much SPS you should rent, in my case I'm playing at Bronze-Silver because I'm on a tight schedule, so my goal is an entire deck that is very competitive and that is between those levels. Everyone has their own way of playing so recommending you which cards to use, besides it will make the post last a whole day, won't help you much, because it's very sure that your way of using the cards will be different from mine. Anyway in this link you can find different decks that I have put together in Peakmonsters.
In my case I rented 6000 SPS for a total of 294 DEC (this rental lasts 7 mandatory days) and a peculiar set of cards including a lot of gold foil cards, because I got a golden slot in my brawl, for which I ended up paying 2158.694 DEC to rent them for 2 days. I also ended up paying 12 SPS and 31 DEC as FEE for a total of 7 different tournaments to which I registered.

In total it was 2483.694 DEC + 12 SPS, which for this bronze-Silver level is quite too expensive, but that's due to the slot I got, because there are golden cards that at silver level already start to be expensive to rent.

I do this because the brawls in my guild generate an average of 24 SPS each, along with about 2500 merits. And also the battles are always entertaining because besides being able to use the Gladius always appear some very crazy rulesets in those battles.
For the qualifiers daily battles also depends entirely on the victories you achieve on those games, on average in those 2 days you can get about 30 SPS on Bronze if you win many games, and the chests and we all know that they are a mystery and much more now, but certainly everything you get from them will be profits in the future, especially the soulbound cards.
Now talking about the tournaments, and specifically the seven tournaments I signed up for, they had a maximum reward of 344 SPS + 2700 DEC + 3 Chaos Legion Packs, all this adds up to about 12.5$, achieving the maximum reward means winning the 7 tournaments, which is clearly something complicated to achieve, that's why you have to make the maximum effort and have a really competitive set of cards, but anyway, only the profit of the tournaments represents a x3 of the investment we made, and remember that the SPS income lasts 7 days, so you could play tournaments all those days. The goal you should have is to be at least among the top 32 of each tournament, and with that I assure you that you will get profits, always keeping in mind that the higher the better and that the total success is to win the tournament.

Pros y contras

Una ventaja clara de esto es la posibilidad de ganar recompensas, porque esto aumenta de forma exponencial conforme se va subiendo de nivel, incluso podrías empezar desde bronce y todas tus ganancias reinventirlas para ir subiendo tu nivel de liga y jugar mas alto y por ende ganar mas, y además hay otras cosas que puedes hacer, como pelear por el ranking de tu liga para ganar DEC.

Una clara desventaja de esto es que necesitas invertir algo de tiempo en ello, sobre todo para los torneos que tienen horas especificas y son por rondas, y otra posible desventaja seria que esta estrategia no le dara ganancia a todos los que quieran ejecutarla, se necesita ser un muy buen jugador.

Pros and cons

A clear advantage of this strategy is the possibility of earning more and more rewards on many ways, because this increases exponentially as you level up, you could even start from bronze and all your earnings reinvest them to go up your league level and play higher and therefore earn more, and there are other things you can do, like fighting for the ranking of your league to win DEC.

A clear disadvantage of this is that you need to invest some time in it, especially for tournaments that have specific times and are by rounds, and another possible disadvantage would be that this strategy will not give profit to everyone who wants to run it, you need to be a very good player.

Conclusiones.

Si bien no es una ganancia segura y que claramente no es para todo tipo de jugadores, si que es una oportunidad que sabiéndola explotar, te puede generar muchas ganancias, así que desde mi punto de vista esta estrategia es muy productiva si te sabes acoplar a todo lo que exige. Siguiendo estas pautas y jugando en competencias de rango oro o superior las ganancias podrían ser muy significativas, por poner solo un ejemplo, el campeón del siguiente torneo Gobson Masters Diamond GF se llevará 4416 SPS, prácticamente 100$. Y estos torneos se lanzan de manera regular y ademas, casi siempre hay al menos 2 torneos de este estilo por dia y a todo esto no estoy sumando todo lo que se obtiene en las brawls y en las misiones diarias.

En esta ronda de torneos para este post fue uno de mis peores desempeños desde que estoy ejecutando esta estrategia y aun asi obtuve 5.4$ en recompensas totales, sin sumar las cartas de mis focus.

Conclusions

Well, if this strategy is not a sure income and clearly is not made for every kind of players, it is a great opportunity if you know how exploit it, can generate you a lot of incomes, so, from my point of view this strategy is very productive if you know how acoplate to all the demands from you. Following this steps and playing in gold rank contest or a superior rank the incomes can be very significative, for example the next champion of the Gobson Masters Diamond GF tournament will receive 4416 SPS as reward, that's practically 100$. And this tournaments are launched regullary and regullary every single day on Splinterlands are at least two torunamentes of that style and to all this I'm not taking in count all the rewards from the Daily ranked battles and the brawls.

In this round of tournaments I play for this post it was one of my worst performances all since I have been running this strategy and I still got $5.4 in total rewards, without adding my focus cards.

El ''Hack''

Como ultimo tip, y si sumado a toda esta estrategia, utilizas tus batallas de focus para participar en el #BattleMageSecrets semanal y tienes la creatividad suficiente para lanzar un post que participe cada semana en el #SocialMediaChallenge de Splinterlands puedes ganar un ingreso extra que, aunque va a depender de factores como la calidad de tu contenido, que no sea plagio y que se vea bien, si cumples con las reglas establecidas por Splinterlands es mas que seguro que todo lo que inviertes lo vas a recuperar, y si lo empiezas a hacer de forma recurrente eso te traera beneficios no solo para tu cuenta de Splinterlands si no tambien a la de Hive.
