Olá pessoal, finalmente chegamos no grande dia de abertura de packs! Tivemos uma pré venda em que 500 mil packs foram vendidos em poucos minutos, isso para mim foi uma grande surpresa e me confirmou o quanto é grande a base de demanda no nosso querido jogo Splinterlands!!
Hoje eu vou relatar brevemente um pouquinho da minha participação nesse acontecimento!
Bom, eu não sou um grande investidor, tudo que adquiro dentro jogo é fruto do meu trabalho criando conteúdo ou em recompensas jogando. Eu acumulei recursos suficiente para comprar 10 packs na pré venda e arriscar talvez um airdrop. Certo, 10 packs me dá uma chance de 20% de conseguir esse feito mas eu estou esperançoso e espero que tudo dê certo!
Enquanto isso, hoje eu abri meus packs e minha estratégia foi simples: vender o suficiente para recuperar o que investi.
Eu gastei por volta de $50,00 dólares em SPS mais alguns vouchers que parte foi comprado na baixa ( por volta de 0,35) e outros que adquiri pelo airdrop enquanto meus SPS estavam em stake.
Então meu objetivo é recuperar o que foi gasto e o que viesse além disso é lucro!
O mercado está movimentado e foi questão de poucas horas para conseguir vender o que precisava para ter meu ROI. Até aqui já efetuei $53,31 dólares!
Me restaram uma boa quantidade de cartas, mas precisei vender as melhores ou pelo menos as mais valorizadas. Não sei se esse é um bom momento para desfazer de cartas, não da para prever o mercado e o que pode acontecer mas minha prioridade é diminuir o meu risco e devolver para o bolso o que saiu.
Minhas expectativas é que o preço dessas cartas caiam com o tempo e eu possa comprar exatamente o que preciso para fortalecer meu deck. Eu realmente espero que isso aconteça, pelo que venho observando nesse tempo que jogo Splinterlands é que nos primeiros dias as cartas tem um grande valor e que depois vem decrescendo, claro, devo levar em conta que o Suply dessa coleção é mais baixa do que a anterior e isso eu vou acompanhar mais de perto e tentar identificar o melhor momento para recomprar o que preciso.
Bom, chega de firulas, vou mostrar meus 10 packs abertos:
Não foi uma abertura de packs espetacular, mas também não foi uma das piores. Em 10 packs sair duas cartas lendárias é algo que deve ser comemorado!
Com a venda de apenas essas duas cartas lendárias eu recuperei quase 80% do valor investido:

Vale a pena comprar packs?
Bom, eu acredito que players com pouco investimento não vale o risco, é uma loteria. Muito mais inteligente pegar o investimento e direcionar para carta que você realmente vai usar em seu baralho. Esperar a poeira abaixar para comprar cartas em seus preços estabilizados e sair um pouco dessa euforia inicial, avaliar as melhores cartas e as que tem melhor custo benefício. Dessa vez eu dei sorte de recuperar o ROI e sair com u pouco de lucro.

Hey guys, we finally got to the big pack opening day! We had a pre-sale in which 500,000 packs were sold in a few minutes, this was a big surprise for me and confirmed how big the demand base is in our beloved game Splinterlands!!

Well, I'm not a big investor, everything I get in the game is the result of my work creating content or rewards playing. I've accumulated enough resources to buy 10 packs on pre-sale and maybe risk an airdrop. Okay, 10 packs gives me a 20% chance of getting this feat but I'm hopeful and hope it all works out!
Meanwhile, today I opened my packs and my strategy was simple: sell enough to recoup my investment.
I spent around $50.00 dollars on SPS plus a few vouchers which part was purchased at low end (around 0.35) and others I purchased via airdrop while my SPS were on stake.
So my goal is to recover what was spent and what comes after that is profit!
The market is busy and it took just a few hours to sell what I needed to get my ROI. So far I've made $53.31 dollars!
I had a good amount of cards left, but I had to sell the best or at least the most valued ones. I don't know if this is a good time to get rid of cards, I can't predict the market and what might happen, but my priority is to reduce my risk and return what came out in my pocket.
My expectation is that the price of these cards will go down over time and I can buy exactly what I need to strengthen my deck. I really hope this happens, for what I've been observing in the time I've been playing Splinterlands is that in the first days the cards have a great value and then it's decreasing, of course, I must take into account that the Suply of this collection is more lower than the previous one and I will follow this more closely and try to identify the best time to buy back what I need.

It wasn't a spectacular pack opening, but it wasn't the worst either. In 10 packs, getting two legendary cards is something that should be celebrated!

Is it worth buying packs?
Well, I believe that players with little investment are not worth the risk, it's a lottery. Much smarter to take the investment and direct it to the card you're actually going to use in your deck. Wait for the dust to settle to buy cards at their stabilized prices and get out of that initial euphoria, evaluate the best cards and the ones that have the best cost benefit. This time I was lucky to recover the ROI and walk away with a little profit.
