I will put it up front right now than having readers drag through my post if they are curious to know, but I am not going to be buying a Waka. Why?
The simple reason is I do not have enough SPS and vouchers to make the purchase. A full 5,000 SPS and 500 vouchers for each Waka and there are limited 500 NFTs. I only have about 1,000 SPS liquidity and 10 vouchers lol.
So how will I play this Waka sale as the hours comes close to begin? I will be trying to sell my SPS and vouchers for more hive and in return trade back into hopefully more SPS and vouchers.
Hive has been falling as of lately as the whole cryptocurrency market is in a sell off. Therefore the SPS and Voucher value relative to Hive has slightly rose. This is interesting to note as a potential good time to trade into Hive if I am long Hive long term.
So I am not investing in Waka but will be hoping to trade off the sale by trading for Hive and hodl in hopes that I can trade the Hive back into the secondary tokens such as SPS and Vouchers.
On another similar note open market cards prices appear to be slightly less, but it will cost more Hive to purchase since the value of Hive and secondary tokens like DEC.
