It another month gone and now looking ahead for April 2022 in a day or so. I thought I would get a early start and simply review my March 2022 overall account performance and additions.
Waka Spiritblade
At the top of the list is the addition of Summoner Waka Spiritblade via Wax purchase. Although the sale of the card over on Atomichub appears to have failed I still like my purchase. A hefty $1500 at going rate the card only is close to 0.5% of my entire card collection. That speaks volumes.
Diamond League?
Ever since I have Waka I have for consecutive weeks came close to reaching near Diamond league. However I stopped making progress in this category nearly every season to rent out majority of my cards leading me not in lack of points to reach the Diamond league but in collection points. I prefer earning more than getting more end of season chests for now.
Acount TVL
Its near the end of the season, in fact less than 12 hours from ending so my rental earnings is extremely inflated. Still one like this is equal to like 5 days of normal season rental income for me.
Overall my account value has again steadily decline. Even with adding in Waka the entire portfolio has dropped. I do not intent to add more cards in the near future but am saving for the potential Legendary summoner airdrops.
Conclusions
Beyond one of the most expensive Splinterlands cards I ever spent nothing changed too much in my overall account. I have been earning more than prior seasons with the better card, but by how much more? We will find out soon enough when write a post about latest season earnings.
I remain long term investor in the game and Splinterlands is my number cryptocurrency asset in holdings relative to total value. This is the case for many reasons but first and most important one is the game is still profitable. Even with lower value of DEC and SPS over the month of March the accumulation of both tokens help offset the price declines. I continue to hold long on Splinterlands tokens too as they go hand in hand with NFT assets.
