With the end of another brawl my guild came up a bit short finishing second. Even so we were able to come up with close to 6k in merits. In addition to my rank battle merits I was able to get enough for 3 Gladius cases purchase.

Pack one came out standard one rare and four commons.
Pack two remain the same with nothing special.
I would go out 0 for 3 looking at all the cards I took in. I just didn't have any luck today.
Overall Gladius Collection
With a year of brawls under my belt I have now amass close to 25k in DEC burn rate.
Nothing to brag about but compare to my overall DEC burn rate collection it is like 0.2% in total. This is consider pretty high in my opinion because we can't trade or buy Gladius cards. All the cards in each player's possession is won through brawls.

Then it begs the question if every account has their own amount of Gladius cards how much are each account worth? I have seen bot accounts being sold for around $1 each. So at the very least that is the bottom. Then we have players that amass multiple of Gladius cards. If we equate 1 DEC = $0.001 at peg just for simplicity that would mean my account if held no cards would be worth around $25 + $1 at bare minimum. Of course my Gladius collection is unique only to my account and so holds true for everyone else.
Bottom line is participating in brawls and earning rewards allow us to separate ourselves from each other. This makes me ponder at what other potential paths Splinterlands can do to provide further uniqueness between accounts. Like earning badges that would be locked in a player's account or even allow players to change their own in game avatars? Going off on a tangent but you get the idea.
