Ever wonder why some of the characters are the way they are in game? What about why certain sets are called the way they are? Chaos Legions? Untamed?

Or how the world of Splinterlands actually looks like?
What is SplinterLore?
Splinterlands is much more than a game. It is an entire world that has been years in the making. There is an entire community of artists and musicians, writers and gamers, bloggers, vloggers and more behind this collective vision of imagination. Lore is more than just stories. It is a vast collection of stories that come in so many different packages that together it becomes a beautiful tapestry of culture. That is Splinterlore. The culture of the Splinterlands.
Plenty of side stories that builds up to the great part of Splinterlore. Players will see a different prospective with their cards and the game itself after reading through the Lore.
Going through Splinterlore you can find stories about certain characters in each splinter. This helps players get an understanding as to why summoners and cards look like the way they are. This benefits players in getting attached to the game through stories. Great games comes with great stories. Who would not want that?
In addition to reading about the lore there is a good utility to it. Back about six to eight months ago every week there would be Splinterlands Trivia. People were being tested as to how quickly they can respond to questions related to the characters or stories of Splinterland. I partake in a couple and won some booster packs. Hopefully this will return considering now there are more players and new material has been added such as Chaos Legions.
Another really cool element with Splinterlore is seeing the fan arts. There is a weekly contest for fan arts and it is still currently active. Winners of the art earn booster packs!
Just amazing to see fan art work and the winners over the years as it is archived and viewable for readers of Splinterlore.
Like the old saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes we just have to read the words to know what they are. Splinterlore gives us a glimpse of this.
Additional art work and a full Splinterlands story line makes it much more compelling to stay in tune with the game and understanding why monsters are the way they are.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!
