Encouraging the best
Some of you may already know, but: I'm part of the curator team at @splinterlands and @monster-curator. And as such, I've seen countless content being produced for this wonderful game that I love so much! These contents, brought with more and more quality, mainly by some "newbies".
But, even though many of these content producers are being well paid for their posts, others are not receiving what they deserve.
Then I thought: "what if I increase my voting power?"
my goals are simple:
Contribute to better remuneration for those who are creating quality content about Splinterlands;
Encourage better quality in that same content;
Help the game gain greater visibility.
The more people getting paid well to talk about Splinterlands, the more content there will be, and the more people will be drawn to our favorite game!
The invitation
I recently reached 1 million SPT (Splintertalk token) in stake!
Even so, it's still not enough to increase my voting power enough to reward the creators of Splinterlands the way they deserve...
So, if you want to help me give good wishes to those who strive to do their best talking about Splinterlands, you have two options: delegate your tokens, or just follow my trail!
In both ways, the result is the same: satisfied producers, producing content (video or text) with increasing quality!
Motivation: Hive Rewards
Some of you may wonder, "Why would I do that?"
Practical answer: because you also earn token rewards when you do this!
From what I've noticed, some are unaware of the benefits of social networks/sites that are on Hive…
So, let me tell you.
For your vote / to be worth tokens to someone, you need to leave some tokens at stake (frozen).
But, only 50% of the entire collection is sent to those who produce!
The other 50% is split between all those who voted (including you)!
That's right: when you vote / like someone's post, you are automatically registered on the Hive blockchain as a curator of that post, and receive tokens for your participation!
The rewards you can earn vary depending on your voting power (counted from how many tokens you have staked), and the percentage of your vote (which you can set when you "like" someone's post).
Rewards can be redeemed after posts you vote for complete the payout cycle, which is 7 days.
That way, the producer gets monetized for the content, and you get a sort of commission for helping!
Everyone wins!
Following my trail
I know that many of you would not have time to analyze one post at a time, and define which one deserves votes with a higher percentage, or which ones deserve votes with a lower percentage.
But there is a way to solve this.
The simplest option is to follow mine. That way, you also automatically vote for posts I vote for, including those from Splinterlands!
For that, you will need to do the following:
Go to HiveVote by clicking here.
Then scroll down and click on "Login/Register".
The site will redirect you to Hivesigner.
In Hivesigner, enter your username and your "Private Active Key".
Then enter a password and repeat it.
Click "Continue".
Finally, authorize automatic voting with Hivesigner.
On the site's home/dashboard, you will find the option "Curation Trail", whereby clicking on it, you will go to another page.
Going down the page, the option "Search for a trail" will appear.
Enter my username, and click "Follow".
Finally, just confirm.
I've already listed more than 400 blogs on this track, and I've set aside a certain percentage of votes for each of them, according to the pattern of posts they make.
Blogs are ranked from "Almost Non-existent" to "Excellent", with only 16 rated highest, but 120 more are rated "Good".
In other words: over 33% of blogs registered in my trail deserve and need our support!
Final considerations
There is still the option to delegate your voting power to me, but I will talk about that in another post.
Help me give Splinterlands creators better rewards (no need to vote one by one), and get a commission for it!
