Good day fellow gamers! I guess I’m back again for this weeks challenge. The theme card is DJINN APPRENTICE which is under the fire splint.
I’m not familiar with this splint. With the amount of times I battled with the splint just to engage in this weeks post you’d think it had a personal vendetta against me! Maybe I wasn’t being strategic with positioning my cards or I was out of luck. Either way I finally won a battle!
Let’s get started shall we?
THE DJINN APPRENTICE
Djinn Apprentice prefers to study under more a powerful djinn to hone their magic. Although not as strong or cunning as others of their kin, they are equally just as dangerous to untrained warriors.
When the Chaos Legion had arrived, it had a diverse effect on the djinn. Not a unified race by any means, some had choosen to align with the Chaos Legion, while some chose to defend against it, and others chose to go their own path and leave everything behind. Djinn Apprentices chose to align themselves with Djinn Inferni, believing in his mission and vision.
STATS OF THE CARD

This card possesses no abilities until level six in which it acquires the “death blow” ability. In level one, it has x2 Magic attack up until level three and then increases to three from level four to six. In level seven, it becomes four.
In levels one and two, it has four health points, it increases to five in level three and drops back to four in level four, it rises to five again in level five up until level eight.
It has x2 speed in level one, in levels two to six it’s three and in levels seven and eight it’s four.
This card has no armors!
MY STRATEGY/ LINEUP
BATTLE RULES= STANDARD
MANA CAP = 28
With 28 mana cap I felt like I had quite a reasonable amount to plan a good team but I still had be careful and strategize properly since i am not familiar with this splint.

Name | Tarsa |

Edition | Untamed |
Splint | Fire |
Rarity | Blue (Rare) |
Attack | x2 Melee attack |

I picked “Living Lava” because I felt it could hold my frontline well enough plus the armor and shield ability was a nice addition.

---|---|
Mana cost | Four |
Edition | Untamed |
Splint | Neutral |
Rarity | Blue (Rare) |

---|---|
Mana cost | Five |
Edition | Chaos Legion |
Splint | Fire |
Rarity | Blue (Rare) |
Attack | x 2 Magic attack |

Asides being this weeks theme card, i likes the fact this card has a magic attack so that way my team would have all the attacks; melee, ranged, Magic.
Monster 4

---|---|
Mana cost | Five |
Edition | Chaos Legion |
Splint | Fire |
Rarity | Blue (Rare) |

I chose “Tenyii Striker” because of its sneak ability which would help target my enemy’s weak cards.
Monster 5

---|---|
Mana cost | Three |
Edition | Untamed |
Splint | Fire |
Rarity | Grey (common) |
Attack | x 2 melee attack |

With just three mana cap left, I went with ‘Serpentine Spy’ because of its ability which would help ‘Tenyii Striker’ target my enemy’s weak cards as well.

Did your strategy work?
Yes it did.
What would you try differently next time?
I would try using a different strategy and use cards I’m not too familiar with just to see how it goes.
Do you like Djinn Apprentice?
No
Why?
I felt like the card could use or give more ‘action’. Plus it has no abilities but costs five mana? This doesn’t sit well with me.
Thanks for reading!
