Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge: Angelic Mandarin!!!!

Hello fellow Splinterland lovers! I’m here again to partake in this weeks ‘Share your battle weekly challenge’ and this weeks theme card is ”THE ANGELIC MANDARIN”. So I guess we’re going ‘Water’ this time around.

THE ANGELIC MANDARIN

Part of the variety of the already beautiful mandarin fish, the Angelic Mandarin is said to be blessed by the magic of the sea. It swims in the most gorgeous of tropical waters and lives a peaceful life in harmony with all around it. It is also said that the Angelic Mandarin fishs’ touch has healing properties. If one sees an injured person in need, it’ll swim up and stare into your eyes. It’s almost as if they are looking into your soul and if they deem you kind, they will heal your wounds.

STATS OF THE CARD

At level 1, this card doesn’t have any abilities up until level three. Getting to level four, it gains the ‘Triage’ ability and maintains it up until level seven. At level eight it gains an additional ability which is the ‘Silence’ ability. The card possesses one ranged attack from level one up to level four which then increases to two in level five and is maintains till level eight. It’s health points are five at level one but increases to six at level two which it maintains up until level six but it also increases to seven at level seven and eight. The card has times two (x 2) speed at level one and two. It increases to three at level three which lasts up until level five before it increases again to four for level six to eight. This card has no Armors.

I decided to use ‘Bortus’ as my summoner because of its -1 Magic attack buff which could destabilize my opponent since I don’t know what they have in store for me.

I picked ‘D Jinn Oshannus’ as my first monster because of his great stats: Good health points, speed and Magic attack. The card has resilience and can hold my frontline very well.

I went with the ‘Merdaali Guardian’ as my second monster because of its tank heal ability which would be of great importance to my first monster thereby holding my frontline better and increasing resistance if need be.

Did my Strategy Work?

Yes it did and I’m glad. I didn’t loose any cards and most importantly they didn’t loose any health points at the end of the game. Everything was still intact like in the beginning.

What will I try differently next time?
Nothing actually but I might not use these same cards if I don’t have enough mana cap and if I have more I’d like to add a few more cards.

Do I like Angelic Mandarin?

Yes I do

Why?

The card has great stats; most importantly the health point and the card costs just three mana caps.

Thanks for reading!!!
