Dragons are the fierce creatures of Chaos Realm, and they dwell there on their terms. When the rifts of Chaos Realm opened, these devilish monsters headed towards various parts of the earth to invade new lands. Praetoria and the Splinterlands were among those lands which were much affected by these humongous creatures.
This weekly battle challenge is all about destruction and fear spread by the Dragon splinters. It is said that if Chaos Dragon appears in a battle, just run as fast as you can or feed yourself to it.
BATTLE LINEUP
This battle takes place between dragons and life splinters, each one of them has the special power to turn the tide of the battle, but we have to see it for ourselves.

STRATEGY
I use Quix The Devious to reduce opponents' speed and ranged attack by -1 so that my units can get the advantage of attacking the enemy first.
Chaos Dragon was used as a tank because it has 4 armor, 3 magic attack, and 3 speed. The benefit of using this monster in the frontline is to remove the enemy's tank first even if it has any armor, but the magic attack will penetrate through it.
Truthspeaker adds +1 armor to all allies, it will help protect my backline from melee and ranged attacks, which means opponents can't kill any unit without breaking the armor.
Venari Crytalsmith is a cool healer, it can help the tank to stay longer in the battle with his healing showers.

BATTLE COMMENTARY
There are nine rounds of this battle and each round gives me chills, but then Chaos Dragon rises and makes a lot of havoc on opponents.
Round 1
Quix tosses the time sphere and ranged bane on the opponent's team making them slow and reducing their ranged attacks. Mother Khala, a bloody witch, boosts her allies' health.
Truthspeakers on both sides create an armored barrier to protect their teams from melee and ranged attacks.
Every unit tries to remove the armor of its enemy first, and somehow Mother Khala's team removes Soul Fiend's armor.
Round 2
Stitch Leech lunges to Soul Fiend and shreds it like a torn cloth, dead Fiend floats in the air and vanished in the sky.
Round 3
Chaos Dragon shouts to Shieldbearer "I know no armor, your skin and bones are mine.", while Shieldbearer coughs blood from the mouth as he has only 1 health left.
Round 3
Celestial Harpy laughs and attacks Truthspeaker from behind, the magical armor barrier is now gone as she falls to the ground breathless.
Round 4
Chaos Dragon guffaws with pride and devours Shieldbearer as a whole, after a few seconds, Dragon belches with foul smell reducing the morale of all enemy's units.
"Yum yum yummy, who is next to go in my tummy?" Dragon says with a laugh pointing to its scaly stomach.
Venari Crytalsmith hears a screech from behind, but Stitch Leech has clamped her teeth into his neck, with a little crackling sound, Crytalsmith's neck is chewed off fully, he is no more just a corpse on the field.
Round 5
Chaos Dragon yells in a fierce voice "You think you 4 little worms can defeat me, in your dreams you sniveling bastards."
Everyone hears a gulping sound, Celestial Harpy is nowhere to be seen.
Round 6
"It is time to chew Truthspeaker. think red blood is dripping out of Chaos Dragon's mouth.
Round 7
Dragon slaps Pelacor Arbelast with its claw, he drops to the ground in 3 bloody pieces. This crap is not even worthy of being my food, haha!" Dragon guffaws again.
Round 8
Stitch leech takes a flame from the dragon, which makes her injured and weak, she cannot even touch the dragon.
Round 9
"Any final words, bitch, No, hmm juicy, tastes like a fish though." Chaos Dragon slurps Stitch Leech like a noodle, and then took a flight to another battlefield.

Since the Chaos Dragon is a powerful tank and attacker, I have to protect the dragon as long as I defeat the opponent's tank, most of the backline units serve as bait for sneak and opportunity monsters. But, I used Truthspeaker to apply additional armor to keep the battle going for longer rounds until Chaos Dragon cleans up some of their units.

What will you try differently next time?
I'll look forward to using magic attack monsters along with some double-strike units. I might use different summoners also such as Archmage Arius and Delwyn Dragon Scale to enhance the magic attack of dragon units.
Do you like DRAGONS? Why or why not?
I like Dragons because of their powerful attacks and flying abilities. But, there's a little problem with managing them in the battle due to the high mana cost.
Overall, Dragon units are very formidable opponents in the battle and possess special abilities to turn the tide of any battle.
