Let's go through the detail of this Monster first.

	-1 Ranged attack & -1 Speed	Dragon	Taking into account the ruleset and splinter option, people usually will use magic attacks when there is no Death splinter option. Unfortunately, I don't have high-level Monsters in the Earth Splinter so I choose Dragon splinter because I have Void Dragon there and will combine with Monsters from Life Splinter. My strategy is to slow down the Speed of enemy Monsters so Void Dragon could avoid the attacks as much as possible.

1st	Void Dragon		Flying, Void, Phase	Void Dragon lv3 has 1 Magic attack, 5 speeds, and 9 health. He will become a tank in this battle. He doesn't have a great attack but he has abilities and stats that could make him have a high chance to avoid attack from the enemy Monsters.
2nd	Time Mage		Slow, Rust	Time Mage lv 5 has 2 Magic attacks, 4 Speed, and 3 health. She has slow ability which could help Void Dragon to avoid attack from the enemy Monsters. She also has Rust ability which could remove armor of the enemy Monsters.
3rd	Dax Paragon		Amplify	Dax Paragon lv2 has 1 Magic attack, 2 Speed, and 3 health. He has Amplify ability but won't be useful in the battle because I don't use Monsters with Thorns, Magic Reflect, and Return Fire abilities. But I prefer him to Xenith Archer since he is a magic attack Monster and could attack when he is in the first position.
4th	Pelacor Arbalest		Double Strike, Flying	Pelacor Arbalest lv 5 has 2 Ranged attacks, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He is one of my favorite Ranged attack Monsters in the Life splinter. He has double strike ability which could double attack in each round.

ROUND 1

• The opponent used the Dragon splinter and combined with Life splinter as well.
• The opponent's lineups are :

• Round 1 started with buff and debuff process by both team as follows :

Summary of round 1 :

• My monsters focus on attacking Naga Brute but only could destroy some of his armors.
• My Void Dragon lost 1 health but managed to avoid attack from Venari Spellsmith.
• My Pelacor Arbalest was killed when attacked Naga Brute. Naga Brute has Return Fire ability so does damage back to Pelacor Arbalest.
• My strategy is not working well in round 2.

ROUND 2

Summary of round 2 :

• The 2nd round went almost the same with the round 1.
• Scavo Hireling kept restoring the Naga Brute's armor by 2.

ROUND 3

Summary of round 3 :

• Void Dragon managed to avoid all attacks from the enemy Monsters.
• My Time Mage managed to dealt 2 damage to Naga Brute.
• Scavo Hireling kept restoring the Naga Brute's armor by 2.

ROUND 4

Summary of round 4 :

• The 4th round went almost the same with the round 3.
• Time Mage managed to dealt 2 damage to Naga Brute.
• Naga Brute only left 2 health at the end of round 4.

ROUND 5

Summary of round 5 :

• Finally, my Time Mage managed to kill Naga Brute.
• Dax Paragon managed to kill Furious Chicken.

ROUND 6

Summary of round 6 :

• My Time Mage and Void Dragon take turn attacking the opponent's Time Mage and managed to kill her.
• After the opponent's Time Mage die, I can confirm my victory because the opponent only left Venari Spellsmith and Scavo Hireling.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

• Yes, my strategy works effectively.

• Void Dragon managed to avoid 9 attacks from the enemy Monsters. This is inseparable from Quix and Time Mage's debuff.

• Actually, the enemy has a very good strategy in battle but is thwarted by the Void Dragon.

CONCLUSION

• Time Mage is one of my favorite Monsters when I used Life splinter. I like to use her to counter Kelya's buff.
• As I stated in my previous posts that Monsters from old editions are really unpredictable with their abilities. This is a big challenge for the Chaos Legion edition user.
• I never met Naga Brute before. Based on this battle, he is really good for Keep Your Distance ruleset as he could withstand the magic attack and counter the range attack.
