As the holiday season approaches, I'd like to extend advance greetings of Merry Christmas and a prosperous Happy New Year to the entire @Splinterlands community. Today, I'll be sharing insights into the "Weapons Training" ability—a tactical gem that, when used strategically, can greatly enhance your chances of victory in battles. Let's delve into it!

First of all, What is Weapons Training ability?

Weapons Training is an ability that empowers adjacent units with no inherent attack. These neighboring units receive the same attack value as the monster possessing the Weapons Training ability, capped at a maximum of 3. This implies that, regardless of the original damage of the monster, adjacent allies without any attack attribute will gain a minimum of 3 damage. Whether the monster deals melee, ranged, or magic damage, this effect holds true, but only if the monster's damage is 3 or more. If the monster's damage is less than 3, the adjacent units will adopt the exact damage value of the monster. For instance, if the monster has 1 or 2 damage, the adjacent units will inherit the same damage amount.

Revamped Weapons Training ability:

The Weapons Training ability underwent a significant revamp in recent months. Initially, when this ability was introduced in the game, adjacent monsters acquiring the damage of the monster with Weapons Training would lose that bonus when the original monster perished. This proved to be a disappointment during battles. However, the ability has now been enhanced to address this issue and make it more practical in combat situations. With the revamped version, when a monster with Weapons Training ability dies, the adjacent monsters that had gained its damage will retain that bonus. Moreover, there's a maximum cap of 3 on the damage they can acquire from this ability. This modification enhances the strategic utility of Weapons Training in battles.

USE CASES:

The introduction of the new Summoner Tactics and the revamped Weapons Training ability has notably expanded the utility of cards that originally had no damage in the game. This update brings about fresh gameplay dynamics, contributing to an enhanced gaming experience. Additionally, it adds value to monsters lacking inherent damage, thereby positively impacting the in-game economy and card trading. This development provides a sense of satisfaction for players who have acquired these non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the game.

Below, I've shared a battle gameplay that highlights the practical applications of the Weapons Training ability, allowing you to better grasp the concepts I've discussed. Regrettably, I haven't employed the new Rebellion summoners in this particular instance to effectively showcase the updated summoner tactics. Nevertheless, I hope you find enjoyment in watching the battle, and I aim to provide you with a compelling demonstration of the strategic use of the Weapons Training ability.
