Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Countess Sinash Card Review

image.png

Hello Splinterlands Community, for this week I will share my thoughts and opinions about Countess Sinash which is one of the most powerful legendary card in the fire element. It deals great ranged damage to the opponents and also has useful skills which makes this card very valuable in the game.

About Countess Sinash

Countess Sinash is a 8 mana legendary fire unit that deals ranged damage to enemies and also belongs to the Rewards set. The price for a level 1 regular foil card is $4.07 while the gold foil card is currently listed at $71.77 on the marketplace as of this writing. The price for this card is relatively cheaper compared to other legendary cards in the Rewards set especially the ones that are not obtainable in the rewards chest in the game.

The figure above shows the complete statistics of Countess Sinash from Level 1 up to its maximum level of 4. It only requires 11 cards to upgrade this card to its maximum level but considering its price in the marketplace it would take time and investment to achieve that goal. Based on the figure above, I can say that upgrading this card to Level 3 would be great to increase its ranged damage to 4 as well as unlocking its 3rd and 4th ability which are Swiftness and Affliction respectively. The Swiftness ability boosts the speed of all your units at the start of the match and as long as this card is still alive in the battle. The Affliction on the other hand gives this card the ability to apply affliction to its target unit which makes that unit unable to be healed throughout the entire match. Those 2 additional abilities plus the existing two abilities that this unit had at Level 1 would make this card very powerful and unstoppable in the match.

Rulesets

Since Countess Sinash costs 8 mana to be able to use in battles, it is very important to analyze carefully the team composition that should works together well with Countess Sinash. This includes the mana cap and the different rulesets that are present in the match to ensure that this card would be worthy to use in battles. That is the reason I will share some rulesets in the game which I think should favor Countess Sinash and gives the team a higher chance to win the battle.

Equaliser

image.png

This ruleset is very effective for Countess Sinash, it makes the initial health of all monsters in the battlefield equal to the health of the monster on either team with the highest base amount of health. Since Countess Sinash has a low amount of health, it would benefit a lot from this ruleset particularly if the enemy team uses a monster that has a good amount of health.

Armored Up

image.png

This ruleset also fits very well with Countess Sinash, it gives +2 armor to all monsters in the battlefield at the start of the match. This gives Countess Sinash extra durability in the battle especially against melee and ranged monster opponents. The armor buff also becomes more useful in certain battles that has the earthquake ruleset where it deals damage to all units in the battlefield that does not have the flying ability.

Close Range

image.png

This ruleset fits very well with Countess Sinash. It gives all ranged monsters in the battlefield the ability to deal damage to opponents while in first position. This makes Countess Sinash still capable of dealing damage even if the card was eventually placed in the first position. However the vulnerability of this card with its low amount of health would be one issue for this ruleset to be not much as effective compared to other ranged monsters that has good amount of health or has an armor in the game.

Aim True

image.png

This ruleset is beneficial for the Countess Sinash. It makes the attacks of all monsters on the battlefield to hit their target most of the time. It also causes other abilities of monsters that has evade, flight or phase ability to become less effective because of this ruleset. This ruleset also ensures that the Countess Sinash will successfully deal its ranged damaged to opponents each round in order to secure the victory.

Summoners

It is important to choose the appropriate summoner that will be use in the match in order to maximize the damage and overall impact of the card in the match. Since Countess Sinash is a fire legendary unit, this card would only be available to use on fire element summoners and dragon element summoners as well if the fire element is present on that match as well. I mostly use Chaos Legion Cards, Gladius Cards, Reward Cards and some starter cards that are playable on my battles, that is the reason why I am going to share my personal picks on the summoners that belongs on those sets that I mentioned where I am familiar with and have experienced playing it on ranked battles in multiple occasions, that I think should be a good choice whenever you are planning to use Countess Sinash in battles.

Pyre

image.png

This summoner is a great choice to use when playing Countess Sinash. It gives +1 speed buff to the whole team at the start of the match which benefits the Countess Sinash a lot. With this speed buff coming from the summoner, the Countess Sinash has more chances to strike early every round in the battle. This summoner would also be the best choice whenever the silenced summoners ruleset is present in the match..

Conqueror Jacek

image.png

This is another fire summoner that is the best summoner to use when playing Countess Sinash. It is a legendary summoner that gives +2 speed buff to the whole team, the Scattershot ability which causes the monster to target random enemy units every rounds and the Piercing Ability which allows the excess damage to the enemy target's armor to be dealt on the health of the enemy monster. All the buffs from this summoner benefits the Countess Sinash a lot and it makes the legendary unit more powerful than before.

Dragon of Arnak

Lastly, this dragon summoner is also good when playing Countess Sinash. It gives +1 armor to all units and since it is a dragon element summoner, it allows you to use dragon element monsters in the battlefield. The armor buff from this summoner gives the Countess Sinash some durability against monsters that has sneak, snipe and opportunity ability. The armor buff would also be useful if the earthquake ruleset is present in the match just like the armored up ruleset.

My Battle

image.png

This is a ranked battle I want to share where I used my Countess Sinash alongside with other fire unit monsters to take down the enemy team. I used Pyre as my summoner in this match to increase the speed of all my units at the start of the match as well as to allow Countess Sinash to take down an enemy unit immediately and puts me closer to the victory.
