Watching great players

Today, we're looking at three Splinterlands battles from the top of the bronze leaderboard. Cost-effective strategies and great combos might turn up, so read up!

First on this list is a very creative strategy using Crypt Beetle. Even though it didn't succeed because of their opponent relying on magic damage, that strategy by itself looks amazing versus anyone not on the leaderboard.

Current novice and bronze meta includes a lot of small physical damage whenever green splinter isn't available, which was the case in this battle. Normally, we see a lot of opportunity and sneak attack abilities.

Thanks to using Zintar, Crypt Beetle blocks attacks of up to 2 damage entirely, kills sneak attackers using Cursed Windeku's thorns ability and stalls opportunists using Furious Chicken and Corpse Fiend.

Using this simple strategy whenever Earth Splinter isn't available is surely devastating. I'm going to give it a try whenever I get a new account running in the middle of a season, when I want to rush it to Silver league.

Again, we see how devastating beta cards can be. Cerberus is devastating using only 4 mana, dealing 3 damage against frontliners who have the Shield ability. Most importantly, not only does he hits hard and heals, he's fast. Cards like Living Lava has a good chance to msis their attacks.

Uraeus and Kobold Miner become a source of true might, killing anything within a single turn. Furious Chicken and Scorch Fiend delay damage from both opportunity and sneak attacks due to being well positioned.

We can see @kjchemical is up to a lot of mischief, meddling with beta summoners so often.

@kei19820005 vs @kjchemical

@kjchemical had been battling a lot while I wrote this post, so I ended up picking his battles, but mostly because they're so interesting. He's one heck of a player we should follow so we can study their strategy.

This time, they brought Acid Shooter, Goblin Dartling, Halfling Alchemist and Swamp Thing into play along with Prince Rennyn. Do you know what these four monsters have in common? They're speed-effective, only 2 mana and deal ranged damage.

Using Unicorn Mustang and Wood Nymph as frontliners to stall while damage dealers do their jobs, @kjchemical was very effective in destroying their opponent using a high-synergy tactic.
