In my battle experience today, I ran into an enemy that was a real challenge, because he had a summoner that has 3 types of skills as it takes away a point of attack, a point of speed, and a point of life. Obviously, I was defeated, but I was very intrigued by this powerful summoner so I looked for it in the store to know its cost and see if I could have the chance to get it because as it is a rare card it is very powerful and gives many power points.
I looked for it in the store and saw that the price was between $400 and $4000, and as I don't have that amount, the best option was to rent it, and as it cost 75 DEC per day of rental, I rented it for 3 days paying 225 DEC in total, which at the current market price is $1.12.
The first thing I did was to test it on the battlefield and see how all its power was, facing against ALRIC STORMBRINGER and his ability of 1 magic point and my powerful summoner takes away other things but not magic points.
It was an intense battle, and for my battle deck, I chose Bone Golem for the first position, Death elemental for the second position, Twisted Jester for the third position, Undead Badger for the fourth position, and finally Undead Priest for the fifth position. This team was essential for the battle because it will reduce to the maximum the life of my opponents with the summoner and Undead Priest will also reduce another point of life.
In round 1 I didn't lose any of my cards and since all my opponents had their life reduced to 1 it was easy to get rid of one of my opponent's cards.
In round 2 my opponent lost 2 magic cards in the first moves, then I also lost my tank so my reach card took the first row.
In round 3 my opponent lost his last magic card, leaving only his tank and Water Elemental, but after a few moves, my opponent lost his Water Elemental range card leaving only the tank.
In round 4 my reach cards didn't hurt my opponent's tank, so I had to wait for Death Elemental to do its job attacking with magic directly to the tank's life and finally, I could beat him.
In conclusion, Crypto Menacer is a strategic and necessary card in your deck if you want to achieve victories effectively. But the problem is that when you want to rent it for a whole month you must spend more than $11 in DEC at the current price, and if you are starting and your rewards from battles do not exceed 20 DEC like me, it is not worth it because you will spend more than you earn and you will not see long-term gains, plus as it is a summoner that needs 5 mana you can not use it all the time. So Crypto Menacer is one of the best summoners I've seen, but you need to be in higher leagues for it to be profitable to rent it.
