Total Mana : 27
Usable elements : Earth, Life, death and dragon

Team Composition

Position: Summoner

Chosen for its level rather than its summoner skill since the ruleset removes the summoner abilities, used so that i can use card that are higher than level 1.

Position: Main Tank

Cursed Windeku used as the main tank to protect the back line of the team with its high HP pool of 10 allowing it to take quite a few hits with its thorns ability it will hurt melee units that attack it.

Position: Star of the challenge/Filler/Sub Tank

The star of the challenge Carrion Shade, gains flying at level 3 allowing it to better dodge units that use melee and range attacks, one of the cheap units with flying at the cost of one. main purpose is to take damage for the backline since its attack is low at a 1.

Position: Magic Damage

Magi Necrosi has snipe which helps to target units behind the tank which are normally weaker than the main tank while being protected by the carrion shade, it can do quite a bit of damage since its does magic damage which bypasses armor to hit HP directly.

Position: Range Damage

A low cost at 3 mana unit the soul strangler, when it is level 3 it gains an additional attack so it would do 3 range damage which is pretty good as long as it is protected it would be able to do quite a bit of damage.

Position: Sneak Attacker/ Melee damage

Silent Sha-vi is an all round good unit to use with its high attack at 3 damage and quite fast speed at 4 and it can attack without being in the first slot while being a melee unit. an added bonus it attacks the backline first which is great since most of the high damage units are placed at the back since they have a lower amount in their HP pools.

Position: Range Damage/Sneak shield

In the last slot of the team, Xenith Archer which is used due to the lack of cost but since its a range unit it will be able to deal some damage while being a sneak shield.

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

1.gif

The opponent used a magic damage heavy team with double healer but their mistake was to place the taunt tank in the third position rather than the first position since those tank heals can only heal the unit if its in the first position.

in this round they lost their filler chicken and their taunt tank lost almost all its HP and could not be heal by their double healer rendering those healer useless since the remaining units do not have high HP pools since heals are based of 1/3 of the max HP.

Round 2

2.gif

As expected their units start falling like dominos since they could not take advantage of the healer in their team with their low HP units.

until this point i still had not lost a single unit but they already lost 2/3 of their team.

Round 3

3.gif

this round was just a clean up of their remaining unit, if they changed their lineup abit i think it might have lasted longer, such as swapping the taunt tank to the first position to be able to be healed every round, it should have healed for 6 hp per round since there are 2 healers.

Strategy Talk

In this battle Carrion Shade did not get a turn since their attacks did not manage to kill the cursed windeku but Carrion Shade would have been killed in a single attack as they were a magic heavy damage team and since magic will not miss unless u have phase, Carrion Shade will have been hit and destroyed if they attacked.

probably will use Carrion Shade in an earthquake battle since it has flying allowing it to survive the rule effect.

I like the Carrion Shade as a filler card when I do not have much cost remaining as by using it as a sneak shield is pretty decent since most sneak units do not have flying allowing the Carrion Shade to gain an extra 25% chance to dodge the attacks.

Thanks for the battle challenge curation team
