Card level & stats

Sliver max | LV4 - Gains Forcefield & +1 Speed
Gold max | LV6 - +1 Damage
Diamond and above | LV MAX - Gains Slow & +1 Health

Cost per level (used prices at time of writing)

Seems to cost at least 0.32 per copy, which is one of the more expensive rare cards in the chaos legion collection but it is quite good to have.

LeagueMax Level - Copies neededCost
Bronze maxLV2 - 5 copies1.6 usd.
Sliver maxLV4 - 25 copies8 usd.
Gold maxLV6 - 60 copies19.2 usd.
Diamond and aboveLV MAX - 115 copies36.8 usd.

Level 4 is required to gain Forcefield which is a pretty good ability since it can make those super hard hitting units only to 1 damage to it which can change the game since they are forced to attack it, level 6 is where the damage buff is at and its also quite important since more damage is always good.

the gold foil starts at level 2 but cost about 3 x the amount of a regular level 2 and would require 4 copies just to get the Forcefield ability with the same amount of money you could get a level 6 regular version and some other cards but you do get more CP and that 10% gold foil bonus.

Battle rules

SymbolRule Effect
Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.

Total Mana : 38
Usable elements : Fire, Water, Earth and Death

Earthquake and close combat a weird pair to have well just makes it so flying range units are good to use that all, I placed more focus on the earthquake aspect since its does deal a free 2 damage every turn.

Team Composition

CardRoleReason
SummonerObsidian with its +1 to magic damage its quite a strong unit to use since quite a few of the better earth units are magic damage dealers
Sub tank, ThornsMycelic Morphoid just to fill the amount of mana I have left plus has thorns so it might be able to deal some return damage
Main tank, Self heal, flyingPelacor Mercenary with flying and a self heal its the prefect main tank for earthquake matches and its health is quite high it will heal for quite a bit each turn
Magic Damage, FlyingRegal Peryton is a magic damage dealer that flies paired with the summoner to deal more damage plus its quite fast
Magic Damage, Armor Giver, Amplify, TriageQueen Mycelia with its triage it can be used to heal the backline and by giving 2 extra points of armor to the team which can be used to negate the first set of earthquake damage
Range damage,SnareMitica Headhunter, its main role is to bring down the opponent's flying units with its snare to force earthquake damage on to them
Taunt, Forcefield, Magic damageMycelic Slipspawn can be placed in the back as its a magic attack, has forcefield so all those 5 and above damage users will not be able to hurt it much plus during the earthquake match using this unit as the sacrifice can allow for victory

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

The opponent choice of summoner countered mine by negating the magic damage buff haha, they seem to have 3 flying units while I only have 2 units unluckily for them I do have a snare unit which would bring the match to my favor once it hits those flying units.

For the first round blows were traded, bring down all the armor on their main tank while they removed some of my team's armor as well, all in all a pretty standard first round where nothing was taken out.

Round 2

This round was not that good to my team as the earthquake removed my filler unit wasting its thorns damage that could have been great since its getting amplified so it would have done 3 points of damage.

Mycelic Slipspawn served its purpose by soaking up the damage from this round and was finally taken out but due to its efforts it managed to make the opponent's snare unit not hit any of my flying units which is pretty good while on the other hand my snare unit did take one of their flying units down this round.

At the end of this round my team lost 2 units while the opponent's team only lost a single unit but it looks pretty good for me since the opponent's team does not look like it has much health left

Round 3 to The Last Round

Their snare unit had opportunist which made it attack the lowest health unit avoiding my flying units which is pretty good luck for me allowing both my flying units to stay up while on the other hand my team's snare unit took another one of their flying units down from the air.

the battle went to my side since the number of unit the opponent's team had left were unable to out damage the healing gained from my tank's self heal

Strategy Talk

The strategy was revolves using the taunt tank to reduce the damage done to the rest of the team to stall for time for the earthquake ruleset to do its work on top of that the healing flying tank combined with a snare unit to bring down enemy flying units.

Mycelic Slipspawn should be gotten to at least level 4 to gain the forcefield ability which can be quite important and save its life during battles to prevent it from being killed in a single attack to prolong its use, the level 6 upgrade is also quite nice to have but only can be used at gold and above but still extra damage is always nice to have.

Thanks for the battle challenge curation team
Can't wait to see which card will be in Next's weeks challenge
