First attempt at the Mycelic Slipspawn share your battle challenge, it a taunt tank which is always a nice unit to have on the team as it can protect those weaker high damage units plus its health is quite high allowing it to be heal for quite a bit each turn.

Battle rules
Symbol | Rule Effect |
---|---|
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. |
Total Mana : 36
Usable elements : Fire, Water, Earth, Death and Dragon
Reverse speed with a medium amount of mana and most elements are available, in my mind the choices I have are earth or fire since those 2 element do have quite a few low speed units in them but since the mission mana amount is not that much I went with the earth element since some good cards in earth do have a low mana amount.
Team Composition
Card | Role | Reason |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Obsidian with its +1 to magic damage its quite a strong unit to use since quite a few of the better earth units are magic damage dealers | |
Main tank, Stun | Hill Giant has a low cost yet quite a good amount of hp is behind it and it has stun which is quite a powerful ability with a 50% proc rate | |
Magic Damage, Heal, Affliction, Silence | Goblin Psychic with its Silence to reduce enemy magic attack, Affliction to stop enemy units from healing and its own healing ability to heal the front unit its an all round great unit to use | |
Magic Damage, Armor Giver, Amplify, Triage | Queen Mycelia with its triage it can be used to heal the backline and by giving 2 extra points of armor to the team it can prevent a bit of damage | |
Camouflaged, Void, Weaken | Djinn Biljka is Camouflaged so it cant be targeted which makes it quite a power magic damage unit and it does reduce the amount of health on the opponent's team by 1 | |
Range damage, Blast | Goblin Tower in the reverse speed ruleset there is a low chance for it to miss since its speed is so low and its a blast unit with quite a bit of firepower behind it which is quite good | |
Taunt, Forcefield, Magic damage | Mycelic Slipspawn can be placed in the back as its a magic attack, has forcefield so all those 5 and above damage users will not be able to hurt it much |
Now on to the Battle
Round 1
nothing much happened this round most of it was trading hp damage, their team does not have a healer but does have armor repairers which only affects my goblin tower and hill giant as the rest of my team does magic damage.
Round 2
the low speed of my team allows my team to do quite a bit of damage on their main tank it would have been taken out by now but unluckily it has void armor making the magic damage hit the armor first.
This round ended with the Mycelic Slipspawn being taken out unluckily the force field ability did not trigger since the opponent units do damage under 5 while they lost their lava spider however their main tank's hp is extremely low allowing for a quick clean up the next round
Round 3 to The Last Round
Strategy Talk
The strategy was revolves using the reverse speed ruleset to use slow units to attack first paired with a taunt tank to protect those weaker units and the addition of healer allow the taunt tank to last longer.
Mycelic Slipspawn is a strong unit due to its taunt ability, riftwatchers would change this since it has cards that target taunt units so until then its a pretty strong card to use
Good ruleset to use in:
Ruleset | Explanation |
---|---|
Holy Protection | Gives it a free negate for damage since it does not have a armor |
Odd Ones Out | Since its an Odd Mana card it works in this ruleset |
Explosive Weaponry | Double edged sword since it allows it to hit for more damage at the same time increases the amount of damage it receives |
Armored Up | no problem for it since it deal magic damage |
Keep your Distances | Magic unit so it can be used |
Target practices | since its going to taunt attacks it not really affected by the damage but by being able to snipe it can skip the front unit which is quite good |
