[Hill Giant] Share your Battle challenge (2)

First attempt at the Hill Giant share your battle challenge, this time used it with maylor to gain thorns in a low mana battle to make use of its high hp.

Seems to cost at least 0.033 per copy, Which is one of the lower costing cards from the chaos legion collection.

Getting a level 3 copy is enough to reach the damage buff but level 6 is required if you wish to get the knock out ability. seem to be a level 3 copy is enough for most cases as the level 5 copy only adds an additional 1 speed and hp but that does help in tiebreakers.

Getting the gold foil version if you just want the level 3 since the gold foil version starts at level 3 but it does cost about 0.2 usd more than the level 3 normal foil version but does include that focus point buff for being a gold foil card.

12 mana I believe is the lowest mana cap in the game, pretty hard to work with since its either choosing between a single strong card or many weak card. i went with many weaker card while relying on the summoner buff to come out on top plus only odd mana cost monster can be used so that further limits what can be played.

Debufferreduces the speed of the opponent team increasing the chance i get to attack first and will help in allowing my units to dodge attacks.

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

Basically bet that they are gonna play a melee team and got lucky that they did since the thorns ability only affects melee units. with such a low amount of mana to use the opponent went with quality over quantity while I did the opposite since I am relying on my summoners ability rather than the cards. in the first round in my team managed to remove one of their 2 units which does make it look good for me but it was their weaker units so hard to say how it will go from here

Round 2 to the end

This few rounds showed that shield is pretty strong against thorns since it took 4 full units and my magic attacker just to take out one of their units and if I played with another summoner its might have gone faster assuming I gained +1 to my magic damage, however thorns was the safer choice.

Strategy Talk

The strategy used the ability of the summoner to give thorns to all my units and then flood the team with low mana cost units so that I have many sources for thorn to trigger on but its also relied on the opponent using melee units so luck is also involved in the strategy.

Hill giant get it to level 3 to receive the damage buff so that it can at least do damage to shield unit else it be negated.
The gold foil variant is good if you are planning on just staying on level 3 but if you want the knockout ability which is pretty good to have you would need a level 6 copy and the gold foil version cost a lot more so a regular foil is more cost effective
