Cost per level (used prices at time of writing)

image

Seems to cost at least 19.57 per copy, which makes it quite expensive but at level 1 allows you to use leveled cards which is nice.

Bronze max | LV1 - 1 copies = 19.57 usd.
Sliver max | LV2 - 3 copies = 58.71 usd.
Gold max | LV3 - 6 copies = 117.42 usd.
Diamond and above | LV MAX - 11 copies = 215.27 usd.

level 2 is when you can use level 2 legendary cards and that its quite useful as some legendary cards gain powerful abilities at level 2.

Does not seem very worth it to get a gold foil version of this card as 1 copy of it already costs a near maxed regular foil version of this card

Battle rules

image

SymbolRule Effect
imageAll healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.
imageNon-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

Total Mana : 24
Usable elements : All elements

looking at the past five battles of the opponent they seem to like running life units and have a heavy focus on ranged units and due to earthquake and no healing it was quite easy to form a lineup

Team Composition

Role: Summoner

Quix The Devious picked to counter the range units on the opponent team and to allow me to use the dragon units specifically thinking of using the void dragon due to the earthquake ruleset.

Position: Sacrifice/ Zero cost

Corpse Fiend main job in this lineup is to take the first hit to prevent damage to my main tank due to its zero cost its really good in this type of low mana matches

Role: Shield/ Main Tank

Harklaw the main tank in the team, with its shield ability it will be taking 1 less earthquake damage and combined Quix The Devious it might just take no damage from the opponent's range team if the range damage is only 1.

Role: Melee Damage/ Flying / SubTank

Pelacor Deceiver the backup tank just incase harklaw is taken out, since its not affected by the earthquake it will be my sub tank, has decent speed as well allowing its to dodge attacks.

Role: Flying / Magic Damage/ Void

Void dragon the main dps of the team with its flying and void, with void it should be safe from low magic damage units and flying will allow it to avoid the earthquake damage which is great.

Role: Sneak Shield/ Range Damage

Last on the team, Naga Assassin its role is just to be a sneak shield and do some damage if possible

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

1

As expected a lineup of range units with Tyrus paladium as the summoner, with his buff they will survive one extra turn as the earthquake damage will be absorbed by the armor.

Corpse fiend did its job well by taking the wind elemental first hit preserving the armor of harklaw,

Their main tank the chain golem is a pain having shield but luckily void dragon does magic damage which is not affected by the shield effect.

Round 2

2

The HP of harklaw is not looking that good but at least the flying units on my team are healthy, on the other hand the opponent units have lost their armor from the earthquake damage and will start falling soon.

Round 3

3

Harklaw did well surviving until now taking this whole round's damage onto itself and the opponent team lost 2 units to the earth quake while taking a bunch of damage to the others.

Round 4

4

Pelacor Deceiver almost got deleted this round but luckily the earthquake managed to take out the rest of the opponent team allowing me to win this match.

Strategy Talk

Without Quix The Devious and harklaw i would have lost this round as their damage would have been too much for the Pelacor Deceiver and void dragon to take.

Its always a good idea to put flying units in a earthquake match since they do not take earthquake damage and units with shield are great as well since they take half the damage from the earthquake due to earthquake being counted as melee damage.

Quix The Devious, I recommend getting at least 1 copy since its quite useful but level 2 is the better option if available, however its is quite expensive and might be better place in getting other cards.

Thanks for the battle challenge curation team
Can't wait to see which card will be in Next's weeks challenge
