[Angelic Mandarin] Share your Battle challenge (2)

Second attempt at the Angelic Mandarin share your battle challenge, This time round used it at the gold league with it being level 5 for the damage buff so that it can do damage to units with the shield ability.

Seems to cost at least 0.19 per copy, which is one of the lower costing rare cards in the chaos legion collection.

Level 4 is required to gain Triage which is definitely quite a key ability for this card as it turns it from being a plain vanilla attacker to a healer as well which greatly improves its value, getting it to level 5 is also quite good as there where it gets that extra point of damage.

the gold foil starts at level 2 but cost about 4 x the amount of a regular level 2 and would require 4 copies just to get the triage ability with the same amount of money you could get a level 6 regular version and some other cards.

Another kinda low mana battle plus this battle does not allow for neutral cards to be used which does reduce the choices available unless you use the dragon element to buff the amount of playable units .

Range Damage, SnareAzmare Harpoonist just in case they have flying units this unit can bring them down to earth allowing for an easier kill
Star of the Challenge, TriageAngelic Mandarin with Triage it can heal the units in the backline plus with its ranged attacks it can still attack at this position
Taunt, Close combat, VoidWave Brood with its high hp pool combined with the Angelic Mandarin triage its quite a strong tank since its pulling all the damage from the enemy's team and is getting healed each turn plus at the gold level it has the void ability increasing its effectiveness against magic units

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

For this battle my luck was not bad since their team did have at least 2 units that do magic damage which allowed the void ability to work and the summoner buff to armor also did help since the rest of the units would hit those first.

The Angelic Mandarin did managed to heal the wave brood back to full since the magic damage bypasses the armor value.

This round ended with the opponent losing 1 units due to the deeplurker's attack.

Round 2 & 3

Sadly due to bad luck affliction was triggered on wave brood on round 2 which made its unable to be healed else the battle would have been a lot easier since with the healing from Angelic Mandarin the wave brood would have been near immortal since the deep lurker is slowly taking out the opponent weaker damage units.

The rounds ended with almost 2/3 of the opponent's team being taken out while only bringing the wave brood hp down to its last bit.

Round 4 to The Last Round

The round was quite straight forward since the last 2 units on the opponent's team consist of a magic damage and a range unit but the range unit does not have the close combat ability so once the magic damage unit falls its becomes a free win since they cannot do damage anymore.

Strategy Talk

The strategy was revolves around using high hp units and healer to keep them toped up such as the wave brood and Angelic Mandarin pair which is quite strong since wave brood will taunt the enemies to attack it while the Angelic Mandarin will heal 1/3 of the wave brood's max hp every turn which will protect the weaker units on the team from being targeted, this strategy works better at higher level since the units have more hp and normally have better abilities
such as repair and void which can reduce the damage taken or basically give a free damage negate unless the opponent's unit has the piecing ability .

Angelic Mandarin should be gotten to level 4 before use for its triage ability but a level 5 copy is recommended for gold league plays since that extra one point of damage can affect the result of battle, the gold foil version is a lot more expensive and I feel should be gotten if you can afford it but the regular foil is more than enough to use, unless you are chasing that extra 10% rp bonus.
