How much are Loot chests in Splinterlands worth after the reward change?

I checked the Daily Quest awards for the top 10 players from each league. What rewards did they receive from their chests?

New reward system

Details here: @splinterlands/splinterlands-ranked-rewards-update

The new reward system according to my calculations rewards players who play a lot. Especially players from lower leagues will benefit from it as they can get many more chests each season. Now you can easily get even 10-20 Loot Chests for a daily quest in Silver and Bronze leagues, which used to be impossible. Players in lower leagues will also receive many more chests at the end of the season.

What has changed?

The most important change is the deduction of points for using starting cards. In order to receive the 10-20 Daily Quest chests you need to own the cards or rent them e.g. on https://peakmonsters.com/.

The good news for those who don't have Splinterlands cards is that card prices have dropped significantly and now you can complete a deck cheaper and need less DEC to rent cards.

Are the rewards from Loot Chests now worth less or more?

I checked the results of the top players from each league and here is the average reward from the chests this season:

The Chaos Legion Pack drop percentages have changed a bit and in my results, players in higher leagues run even better than they should.

That's the percentage of chests the Chaos Legion Pack contained in each league.

Did you guys feel positive or negative about the new reward system in Splinterlands?
