🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

I've had a few good Brawls lately and I was feeling the pressure to keep performing well. Brawls are tough with the possibility of banned cards, Gladius cards, home arena advantages and the pressure to help the team. Could I keep my streak of wins going?

An all Tarsa battle!

Tarsa v. Tarsa

Tarsa was the first summoner I leveled up and she still holds a place in my heart as a favorite. The ability to add to melee attacks can make for high punching battles. This battle was fun as it was an even playing filed of level four Tarsas.

CARD	WHY DID I CHOOSE IT?
	Thanks to my buddy @hurtlocker being generous with a delegation I am able to use this awesome tank at a level 2. Shield, three base melee and seven health, a great melee battle tank.
	Another base three melee attack that can attack from the second position thanks to Reach
	More base melee and Sneak. Leveled up he even has Dodge
	Thanks to this being a Brawl battle there is no penalty for using the F2P card. I need to add Spy to my collection so I can use him for ranked battles without penalty too. Two base melee attack, Opportunity and only costs three mana.
	There are a lot of great reward cards, but Uraeus may be one of my most used. I think of it like Spy with more health and Sneak instead of Opportunity.
	The Shatter isn't useful in this Unprotected battle, but it is a cheap meat shield in the back row.

My opponent made an interesting choice with Ash as their tank. I think they were going for the high health to protect Chimney and hopefully get Bloodlust going. the low attack power of Ash and my team's high attack allowed me to mow through my opponent before that could happen. If Chimney had been able to get Bloodlust activated it could have turned out differently, but Tarsa's buff and my high base melee turned my opponent's team to dust in two rounds.

With the unprotected ruleset, and amplified by the Lost Magic ruleset, melee can really shine. Add Tarsa's buff and Fire's high base melee and battles a quick as this can be achieved.

🎉 🎉 5—2. I'm starting to get greedy, I was hoping for a clean sweep 🎉 🎉

The Calzones are starting to rack up more and more points per Brawl. 135 is one of our higher totals and we will continue to get stronger as we learn and grow together. We've placed higher than fifth in the past, but if point totals keep creeping up we will be in the top end of finishers more often.
