Earthquake screams to use Flying monsters to negate any end of round damage, but there are other strategies to consider.
- Try to use the highest attacking cards
- Think carefully about using high health cards as you will be giving your opponent that same high health to all of their cards.
- Heal, Tank Heal, Life Leech and Scavenger can help add more health to your team.
Battle Example
This is an interesting battle as it is on the edge of being a high mana battle and made the decision tough to stick with lower health cards or go for the big guys and not worry about buffing up my opponent's cards.

Kelya v. Obsidian |
With the addition of the Equal Opportunity ruleset I opted to go melee heavy and choose Kelya for the extra speed and armor.
Results
My opponent went with Obsidian and a magic heavy team which worries me. The good news for me is that their team is armor lacking and my melee attacks tear through them before the magic can wreck me.
