There are so many things to love about Splinterlands these days. It is currently the ultimate investment vehicle even if you don't play the game. But I love the game and I've been playing it for a couple of years now, just for the fun of it.
Needless to say, I'm staking my airdrops and accumulating those investments daily. But I'm also still playing the game and you can still earn some good rewards just through the daily quest. Yes, most days the quest rewards are mainly potions and small amounts of DEC, and a few ordinary cards. But once in a while, you hit the Quest Rewards Jackpot - like my screenshot above shows.
I collected a total of 2,370 DEC plus an Epic Gold Foil card.
On the market you see that Axemaster has an estimated value of $203. The current price of DEC is .00754 which makes my quest rewards DEC worth $17.87 and combined with value of the Axemaster, that makes today's Quest rewards worth about $220. I played this morning for about 2 hours to complete this quest (the competition is really stiff these days!). And I also won DEC for winning individual battles and made some card rental income for another 690 DEC (about $5).
So bottom line - about $225 just for playing the game for one morning. For having FUN.
Of course the real money making aspect of Splinterlands now is SPS and the air drop. Have you seen the new feature in PeakMonsters? They have a page devoted just to the SPS information now. You get to it by clicking on the drop down menu by your log in name and click on "SPS Airdrop". It will tell you all the current information about airdrop status and your current airdrop points value.
The bottom half of the page shows your personal wallet and how much you are claiming, what your wallet is worth, and another little extra that I love - a separate box showing your MONTHLY AIRDROP EARNINGS. Kudos to @peakmonsters for partnering with Splinterlands to make everything so transparent.
