Grumpy Dwarf (Common Neutral Monster).

Grumpy Dwarf is one of some neutral monsters that have the "Reach" ability in the 1st level and I don't think whether it's a good idea to use this monster in lower levels on the battlefield as it doesn't offer much in the lower levels but it can/might be a nice asset if you level him up and it gets the "Enrage" ability includes more attack powers and more health. I don't normally use it on the battlefield as I don't have one in higher levels and I don't wish to waste the 4 mana on this monster in level 1 while I have better options. That's only my opinion and you may try a different/better strategy with him anytime.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 99 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the life splinter and my opponent used the life splinter as well against me.

My Lineup.

I had Shieldbearer in level 1, Grumpy Dwarf in level 1, Sand Worm in level 1, Temple Priest in level 1, Silvershield Sheriff in level 1 & Evangelist in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Shieldbearer in level 1, Luminous Eagle in level 1, Divine Healer in level 1, Peacebringer in level 1, Lone Boatman in level 1 & Goblin Chariot in level 1

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: SHIELDBEARER Rare Life Monster

It's about Shieldbearer, man. He is mighty, he is not scared of anyone and he is a brave soldier who fights for his team from the front side and who doesn't think twice before he needs to sacrifice himself for his team. Yeah, Shieldbearer is such a warrior with great powers.

Being a melee attacker, he attacks from the front side and defends his team. This warrior doesn't know how to lose the battle but he knows how to sacrifice himself for his team.

My Shieldbearer is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 4 shields & 9 health with "Taunt" ability and it needs 8 mana.

No 02: Grumpy Dwarf (Common Neutral Monster).

I've used Grumpy Dwarf in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 1 shield & 2 health with "Reach" ability and it needs 4 mana.

No 03: Sand Worm (Common Neutral Monster).

Sand Worm is that kind of worm that will attack with its big melee suddenly/sneakily and you might not even notice that the worm already ate one of your opponents. At least that's what I think of it nowadays after observing it on the battlefield for some days. With low health, this monster offers 5 melee attacks and if it doesn't die early then you're likely to get fantastic support from it on the battlefield.

I've used Sand Worm in level 1 with 5 melee attacks, 1 speed & 5 health with "Sneak" ability and it needs 9 mana.

No 04: Temple Priest (Rare Life Monster)

I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this priest with magic attacks. He looks cool in his appearance with the big cloth and the diamond/stone on his hand. This is a helpful monster in life splinter that one should check on the battlefield. With its "Dispel" ability from level 3, it clears all the positive effects on the enemy when it hits that enemy.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 2 magic attacks, 1 speed 5 health and it needs 5 mana to join a battle.

No 05: SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF RARE Life Monster

I still remember reviewing this card long before when I had found this card super helpful and powerful. Then I never stopped playing with it and I tried to use it in every battle with high mana cap battle when it's time to play with life splinter. For its ranged attack, it's best not to use it in the first place unless it's a battle with something special ruleset.

I've used SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs only 9 mana.

No 06: EVANGELIST (EPIC Life Monster)

Fans of DC's Arrow or DC universe would remember the character Black Canary after seeing the appearance of this character as Black Canary also has the power to scream in loud in order to attack enemies like this Evangelist shows in its appearance. This monster has a special ability in the beginning level which is "Snare" and that allows it to removes the flying ability of a monster with the flying ability and for the "Snare" ability, this monster can't miss its attack. I personally like this monster on the battlefield.

My EVANGELIST is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 2 speeds, 5 health with "Snare" ability and it needs 6 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner Tyrus Paladium, all my monsters got +1 shield each, and the same thing happened for the special buff of my opponent's summoner as my opponent also used the same summoner that I've used on this battlefield.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my opponent's Peacebriner started the battle with its first attack on my Shieldbearer and following the teammate, my opponent's Goblin Chariot threw the second attack on my Shieldbearer, and together they've destroyed 4 shields out of 5 of my Shieldbearer.

Then, my Silvershield Sheriff threw the first attack from my team and destroyed 3 shields of my opponent's Shieldbearer with a single attack. And then my opponent's Luminous Eagle attacked and destroyed the remaining 1 shield of my Shieldbearer. Then my Evangelist attacked and destroyed the remaining 2 shields of my opponent's Shieldbearer although 1 attack got wasted as my Evangelist threw 3 ranged attacks while there were only 2 shields to be destroyed. Then after my opponent's Lone Boatman and Shieldbearer attacked and killed 4 health of my Shieldbearer, my Shieldbearer and Grumpy Dwarf then attacked and killed 3 health of my opponent's Shieldbearer. And then first my Temple Priest and then my Sand Worm attacked my opponent's Shieldbearer and that Shieldbearer had to leave the battlefield for good this time.

There came the beginning of a new round and my opponent's Peacebringer first attacked and killed 1 health of my Shieldbearer and then my Silvershield Sheriff attacked and destroyed the only shield that my opponent's old Divine Healer had. Then together my opponent's Goblin Chariot and Luminous Eagle attacked and killed my Shieldbearer for good which pressurized my Grumpy Dwarf to come forward to the first position. Then my Evangelist attacked and destroyed the shield of my opponent's Luminous Eagle and my Evangelist also used its "Snare" ability for what my opponent's Luminous Eagle lost its "Flying" ability. Then after my opponent's Lone Boatman attacked and destroyed the only shield that my Temple Priest had, my Grumpy Dwarf and Temple Priest then attacked and killed a total of 3 health of my opponent's Luminous Eagle. And then my Sand Worm threw it's big 5 melee attack towards my opponent's Goblin Chariot which would kill that opponent monster but the melee attack got wasted on the shield of the opponent monster although the shield got destroyed and it was meant to happen as melee attacks aim for the shields first. Then my opponent's old lady Divine Healer used her "Tank Heal" ability to heal 2 health of my opponent's Luminous Eagle and that round came to an end at that moment.

My Silvershield Sheriff started this round with his first attack and killed 3 health of my opponent's Divine Healer. Then after my opponent's Peacebringer attacked and destroyed the shields of my Grumpy Dwarf, my opponent's Goblin Chariot attacked and killed my Dwarf for good although I didn't think that my Grumpy Dwarf would last till this moment. Then after my opponent's Luminous Eagle attacked and destroyed the shield of my Sand Worm, my Evangelist attacked and killed 3 health of my opponent's Luminous Eagle, and then my opponent's Lone Boatman attacked and killed 2 health of my Temple Priest and then my Temple Priest got rid of his anger by killing my opponent's Luminous Eagle. Then my opponent's Divine Healer came forward to the first position and healed herself 2 health by using her "Tank Heal" ability although that healing was for nothing as the next thing that happened was my Silvershield Sheriff killing my opponent's Divine Healer.

There came another new round and my opponent's Peacebringer became unable to attack for being the first position holder and my opponent's Goblin Chariot first attacked and killed 2 health of my Sand Worm and I knew my Sand Worm was gonna die anytime now. Then after my Silvershield Sheriff attacked and destroyed the whole shields of my opponent's Lone Boatman, my Evangelist also attacked and destroyed the shield of my opponent's Peacebringer. Then my opponent's Lone Boatman attacked and killed my Temple Priest for good and then my Sand Worm tried to kill my opponent's Peacebringer with the big melee attack but somehow it missed the target and I still don't understand why that was a miss shot as there was no special thing in my sense.

ezgif.com-gif-maker (5).gif

There came a new round and my opponent's Goblin Chariot attacked and killed 2 more health of my Sand Worm while my Sand Worm was left with only 1 health... means, only one more attack from anyone needs to kill my Sand Worm for good. My Silvershield Sheriff threw its ranged attack towards my opponent's Lone Boatman and sent the boatman under the sea after the boat got destroyed (in my dream, lol). Then my Evangelist attacked and killed 3 health of my opponent's Peacebringer while that Peacebringer had only 1 health left and my Sand Worm had to use the big 5 melee attack to kill the Peacebringer for good and my Sand Worm didn't miss the shot this time. Then my opponent's only monster Goblin Chariot came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker. Then my Silvershield Sheriff threw a ranged attack of 3 towards those Goblins and after losing the chariot, those goblins fell down from the cliff and went to hell (in my dream as well, although I'm not sleeping... LOL).

The battle got finished in round 6 while my team still had three monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
