SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! TEMPORAL MASTER

[Source]

Hi everyone! It's time for the a weekly battle challenge, and the challenge for this week is the Temporal Master.

About the Monster

Temporal Master
Temporal Master is an epic card with a low health, low speed and low amount of health. It does, however, have the Recharge ability at level 1. At it’s maximum level, it also gets the Stun ability. For the low mana cost of 3, it’s a fairly decent card. I’m using the basic level 1 version of the card.

Ruleset

Strategy

The Equalizer ruleset meant that all cards in the deck will start with the same amount of health. As such, Monsters with abilities like Opportunity will attack the first Monster first. As such, I wanted to use a tank with Shield to reduce the damage. The strategy here was to choose Monsters with high damage with low health, as the rule set will bring up their health. I also used the Venari Crystalsmith and Spirit Hoarder to heal the tank and backline respectively, in case the opponent used a more Stealthy deck.

The opponent had Repair and Triage as well due to his summoner’s ability. Triage wasn’t used as I concentrated on attacking the frontline. The opponent also had cards that attacked the backline and had Opportunity ability. The Temporal Master turned out very useful in doing 3x damage as the repair and heals were quite irritating.

Thoughts on the card

I rarely use the Temporal Master as it’s quite weak with its low health and can be taken out quite fast in the battle. However, I think it stands out in rulesets such as the Equalizer rule set .
