Hi everyone! It's time for the a weekly battle challenge, and the challenge for this week is the Silent Sha-vi.
About the Monster
Silent Sha-vi
Silent Sha-vi is a common card with the Sneak ability and fairly good base stats (2 Attack, 3 Speed and 5 Health). It gains the Cripple ability at level 6 and Piercing ability at level 10. If you have level 2 Summoners, do level the card up to level 3, as it gains an additional Attack and Speed. The version I'm using is the level 3 one.

Only the Life, Water, Earth and Death Splinters can be used

Cards & Line Up
Summoner: Thaddius Brood - This reduces the health of the opponents deck and also reduces any magic attack damage.

| 1 | Cursed Windeku | It has has 10 health and thorns against melee attacks. The high health will hopefully make my tank last longer than the opponent. |
| 2 | Corpse Fiend | It's 0 mana and is used to distract Monsters with the Opportunity ability. |
| 3 | Chao Agents | Another low cost card used to distract the Opponent, if he uses Monsters with Snipe ability. It also has dodge which hopefully lets it last a little longer. |
| 4 | Silent Sha-vi | It's one of the two main damage dealers, and hits the opponent from the back. |
| 5 | VDhampir Stalker | Placed in the second last position, it's the second damage dealer and has the True Strike ability, which means it doesn't miss. |
| 6 | Shadowy Presence | It's low cost with decent amount of Health (4). It's placed in the last position, to absorb damage from Monsters with the Sneak ability. |
Strategy
The strategy was to use the primary tank to soak up and reflect the damage, distract the opponent's attention with the low cost cards, and to make use of the Silent Sha-vi and Dhampir Stalker to quickly kill off the opponent. I think my strategy worked pretty well, as the Shadowy Presence managed to absorb 2 rounds of damage while my Silent Sha-vi took out the opponent's Silent Sha-vi. After that, the rest of the cards were pretty easy to handle. The Dhampir Stalker also helped to take out the opponent's Cursed Windeku faster.
Thoughts on the card
I think the Silent Sha-vi is one of the best common Chaos Legion card for the Death Splinter. At level 3, it has 3 Attack, 4 Speed and 5 Health and is easily one of the Chaos Legion cards with one of the best stats.
