Sailing from Brawl to Brawl

I became addicted to this game, and there is no question about it. Therefore every day more, I feel like some crazy sailor living and sailing from Brawl to Brawl, always ready to enter the fight. 😄

Splinterlands Brawl with Popeye

It became really insane! It seems like my whole daily or weekly schedule is adjusted according to the Brawl. Firstly, I watch like a hawk when the next Brawl starts to be on time and pick the best Fray according to my current card collection.

Then starts the counting down for the time when the combat would start. After that comes the analysis of the players from the opposing guilds (although I don't know which one of them would appear in the battle as my opponent). Still, I kinda want to prepare myself. 😅

Hereupon I would strategize with an alleged best time of placing my battles (right away at the very beginning, somewhere in the middle, or closer to the end of Brawl).

And finally, when that time (which I determined as best) comes, even my husband already knows what does it mean when I say, "It's a Brawl time!!!" - to leave me alone and run away as far as he could. 😁

But this is not the end as right after that (placing my battles) starts the great anticipation of the end of the Brawl when we would find out how we, as the whole guild, performed and which place on the leaderboard we took.

As we are "The Warriors," we managed to take first place in the last Brawl, collect 32 Crowns, and each of us participants received the award of 1,969 Merits.

If you may have thought that was the end of the Brawl story, you are deadly wrong! If there are enough Merits left from previous Brawls, now comes the most exciting part - buying and opening Gladius packs.

Gladius Pack to Open

When the magic spin does its twisting thing, and when the cards finally pop up (although showing only its backside) the anticipation excitement is almost at its peak.

Unopen Gladius Pack

Just hovering over them (as some card might start to shake what is a sign of the legendary card) would add a few additional drops of excitement.

Opened Gladius Pack

After this last Brawl, I had enough Merits to buy another Gladius pack, with which I was lucky to get one legendary and one rare card.

All in all, from Brawl to Brawl, this game forces me to think and exercise my gray brain cells by studying the cards and their playing abilities, exploring the whole game possibilities, almost endless card combinations for different battles' rulesets, and in some funny way keeps me alive.

I would tell you more, but the next Brawl starts in a couple of hours and I have to be there! 😉

P.S.
In case, you still didn't start to play Splinterlands, maybe it's time to try it!?!
