Todos los árboles del bosque son grandes y frondosos, creando entre ellos belleza, armonía y tranquilidad, eso es lo que se ve desde fuera, se aprecia la magnitud y majestuosidad de la naturaleza, pero mirándolo desde adentro podemos notar que hay árboles secos, árboles muertos, árboles tristes, otros que compiten con los demas y por su puesto también están los árabes resilientes.

Hoy hablaré de Manuel y su historia, él era un árbol más del bosque, un árbol que creció aspirando a ser grande y fuerte, además su padre era uno de los robles más grandes y respetados del bosque por lo que tenía el mejor ejemplo a imitar.
Cada día Manuel intentaba tomar los mejores rayos del sol y absorber toda el agua y nutrientes que podía, mientras otros árboles egoístas competían por los rayos del sol, él compartía lo que podía con los árboles más cercanos dejándolos beneficiarse también.
Manuel era un buen árbol, con un buen futuro, pero un día ocurrió algo inesperado, una terrible tormenta eléctrica azotó el lugar donde se encontraban y un rayo cayó sobre diferentes árboles de la zona.
Algunos árboles se derrumbaron y otros, al ver que estaban tan dañados, dejaron de luchar y simplemente se dejaron secar.
Manuel había sido víctima de un terrible rayo que lo partió en dos, había destrozado todas sus ramas y hojas, toda la familia se lamentaba y pensaba que Manuel iba a morir porque el daño había sido desastroso, incluso árboles que habían sido menos dañados se habían secado, pero Manuel seguía luchando todos los días que podía, esforzándose al máximo para absorber cada gota de agua y cada rayo de sol.

Toda la corteza de Manuel se secó, pero su corazón seguía vivo, luchando y trabajando por un mañana, por una esperanza, hasta que por fin al cabo de unos meses salió la primera rama y la primera hoja de aquel árbol.
Los días pasaban y Manuel seguía desarrollándose bajo la mirada acusadora de los árboles más esbeltos del vecindario, algunos hablaban mal de él, por ser un árbol torcido, otros se burlaban y pensaban que estando en esas condiciones era mejor estar muerto, pero sin embargo Manuel seguía adelante absorbiendo agua y tomando los rayos del sol.
Con el tiempo Manuel se convirtió en un árbol maduro, y aunque era diferente a todos los demás, estaba sano y se mantenía vivo, él sobrevivió al rayo y las imperfecciones que le quedaron ,pero sobre todo sobrevivió a las críticas y burlas de los demás, quienes le dieron la espalda en vez de apoyarlo.
Año tras año una nueva tormenta azotaba el bosque, los árboles más altos se partían por la mitad y se destruían por el efecto de los fuertes vientos y los rayos, pero esta vez había algo diferente, un ejemplo de supervivencia, el ejemplo de Manuel que a pesar de su circunstancia y los obstáculos que se le presentaron, nunca se rindió y siguió adelante.

Ahora todos hablan de Manuel el árbol resiliente y todos intentan copiar su ejemplo, porque anteriormente muchos árboles se quejaban y se lamentaban por unas cuantas hojas o ramas caídas pero Manuel siempre seguía adelante y aunque no era un árbol grande y esplendoroso como él quería, podía darle valor a su vida y ser un ejemplo para los demás.
Hoy muchas personas se quejan por cada nueva circunstancia o nuevo obstáculo.
otros en cambio hacen escalónes con cada nuevo obstaculo que les llega, por eso al igual que Manuel siempre debemos ser resilientes.
