Que furtivo se acerca
Apedrea conversaciones ajenas con poemas duros.
A veces de amor.
Pero no de esos que buscan anhelos perdidos
Sino del amor verdadero
El que se siente por la tierra y por el cielo.
Pero no por ese ofrecido por presdigitadores de la fe
Sino ese pedacito de azul o a veces gris, también ocre que cubre nuestras cabezas.
Así es José.
No le importa que la gente esté hablando de las cosas importantes de la vida o deleitándose en el cotilleo de la tarde.
Llega con un cigarrillo ofrecido y un verso empedernido.
Nunca propios debo aclarar.
Se pone el saco de otros poetas
Y nos escupe su fuego hecho letra
Cuando se va se queda uno con versos pintados en la frente y la incertidumbre de quererlo u odiarlo.
Con una conversación a medias guardada en el bolsillo y la sensación de haber sido por un segundo siquiera también un casi poeta.

José is a quasi-poet
Who furtively approaches
Stones other people's conversations with hard poems.
Sometimes of love.
But not of those that search for lost longings
But of true love
The one that is felt for the earth and for the sky.
But not for that offered by presdigitators of faith.
But that little piece of blue or sometimes gray, also ocher that covers our heads.
That's Joseph.
He does not care that people are talking about the important things in life or delighting in the gossip of the evening.
