CON UNA ARAÑITA / WITH A SPIDER
Con una arañita tejeré una historia.
With a little spider I will weave a story.
Como el título va en la parte superior de la hoja, usaré una jirafa para escribirlo.
As the title will be at the top of the page,
I will use a giraffe to write it.
As the page is white and the color of the letters is black, I will use a zebra as an inkwell; with the white I will erase the black spots, and with the black, the white ones.
Como la hoja es blanca y el color de las letras, negro, me valdré de una cebra como tintero; con lo blanco borraré las manchas negras; y con lo negro, las manchas blancas.
Para iniciar me servirá un mono, es bueno un toque de humor al empezar algo serio.
A monkey will be useful to start with; a touch of humor is good when starting something serious.
For conflict, the camel;
it is an expert at carrying the hump.
Para el conflicto, el camello;
es experto cargando joroba.
Para explotar el nudo será bueno algo filoso, de modo que un puercoespín es ideal.
To exploit the knot, something sharp will be good, so a porcupine is ideal.
Será estupendo enredar la trama con una culebra, de esas que viven entre los árboles como una enredadera.
It will be great to entangle the plot with a snake, one of those that live among the trees like a creeper.
En alguna parte me gustaría meter a una tortuga; sí, son lentas, pero sirven para no apresurar el trabajo.
Somewhere I would like to put a turtle; yes, they are slow, but they are good for not rushing the work.
Por razones obvias no introduciré humanos; pondría en peligro a las especies en extinción.
For obvious reasons, I will not introduce humans; it would threaten the endangered species.
To announce the outcome, an elephant will blow its trunk.
Para anunciar el desenlace un elefante tocará su trompa.
Y para el final me reservo a una foca, las he visto aplaudir.
And for the finale I reserve a seal, I have seen them clap their hands.
