Now you are on the street. There are others like you. Everyone goes about their business. The glances are fleeting, shallow. Some are expressive, friendly. Others are cold, indifferent. Do you see an annoyed man or a guy ready to cross the avenue? I only see a moment captured on my camera phone.

The street is a parade of faces. Composed of other people's lives, interesting, empty. Full of thousands of stories: happy, extraordinary, sad, common. An unfinished work: sometimes vertiginous; rarely calm.
La calle es un desfile de rostros. Compuesta de vidas ajenas, interesantes, vacías. Repleta de miles de historias: alegres, extraordinarias, tristes, comunes. Una obra inacabada: a veces vertiginosa; rara vez sosegada.
The rain leaves big puddles. Cars come and go. The reflection in the water shows what was built in another era. The feeling is ambiguous.
La lluvia deja grandes charcos. Los carros van y vienen. El reflejo en el agua muestra lo construido en otra época. El sentimiento es ambiguo.
People walk with one eye in front and one behind. The day sets its own rhythm. Everyone dances to the beat. And life goes on: it shines in the gaze of a dog.
Las personas caminan con un ojo delante y otro detrás. El día marca su propio ritmo. Todos bailan al compás. Y la vida sigue: brilla en la mirada de un perro.
