"Every experience is an opportunity to gain wisdom" is how I decided to title my post because it is an undeniable truth that with every experience, both positive and negative, we expand our knowledge and we become a little wiser. As we advance in our life's path, we acquire more and more wisdom, which allows us to be more reasonable when expressing ourselves and acting, in order to be assertive individuals.

I think that life is like a school that teaches us specific lessons for our evolution, to learn them and progress successfully, we just have to pay attention to the message and be willing to reflect on it in order to improve our behavior for the better. I think I' m a pretty reflective person, I analyze a lot both myself and others and certainly this year I have discovered many things about myself, I have learned a lot, let me tell you by answering the questions proposed by @damarysvibra how has been my path of wisdom this year and in general.

«What have you learned from life this year?»

For me the question would be "what haven't I learned from life this year?", this year for me despite having good and great moments was extremely hard, I suffered from anxiety, depression, fall of consciousness, among other dark situations that I did not understand at the time why I had to be going through all those things, because I did not feel deserving of such events, but soon I realized that it is not a matter of deserving or being bad or good, but to learn, because those situations left me strong and necessary lessons that opened my eyes to many things and have forged my character for the better.

Everything has its reason for being and those negative situations did not appear in my life by magic, they were consequences of harmful situations that were happening around me that finally ended up taking their toll on me and becoming an existential crisis, but as I mentioned before, I firmly believe that many times those problems are agents of change and reflection, they appear in our lives so that we can analyze ourselves and make the necessary changes to our lifestyle and way of seeing things. These experiences taught me to always look out for myself, to not take things personally, to establish limits with people and to distance myself from those who no longer make me feel comfortable (which is not easy), to distance myself from those who are harmful no matter how ugly and discriminatory it may sound, to not try to comprehend or change other people who do not want to improve, to realize that I tend to over analyze and want to understand everything, which can be very harmful to myself and many more things.

In general I think that life has taught me a lot, both the good and the bad, and I think I have become (although obviously I still have too much to learn) a very wise person, clumsy sometimes, but wise 🤭 and of course, the learning still continues, believe me that this month of December new lessons have come to me a little complicated 😅, but here I am ready to pass them with the highest grade 😎.

«What has made you wiser, to the point that, when faced with a similar situation, you can act sensibly, prudently or wisely?»

Knowing how to be silent is something that I consider has made me much wiser, you do not always have to say something or have the last word, even if you are right, silence can become much more powerful and give more peace, as life is in charge of making its balance and put everything in its place. I explain myself, this is something that has cost me a lot to learn and I' m still "perfecting" it, because I think I' m a very objective person and I think that my opinions are always well founded and coherent, but many times I have been carried away by the emotionality of the moment and I have not managed to communicate the message well or simply with whom I have tried to communicate has not cared what I had to say or if in fact cared, did not show it or did nothing about it.

I' m one of those people who often felt the need to express myself to be understood in the right way, but I realized that not everyone cares about understanding you, it bothered me to know that I was right about something and that even so they would contradict me, I always had something to say, today I don't care much about knowing that I' m right and that they don't give it to me, I do not mind having the last word and I even stop answering if necessary because I realized that it is not worth it to waste myself, that whoever wants to understand you will look for the way and that many times silence and not acting cause more impact, we must know how to be quiet and choose our wars wisely, as the saying goes, you do not always have to say something or defend yourself, the facts will speak for themselves in the end and everyone will learn their lessons when it is their time, not yours.

«And maybe you will also encourage you to tell us what is that life learning goal that you have planned to achieve and for which you are willing to be more conscious and look for strategies to achieve it.»

One of my big goals for my life is to stop thinking about the past or future when I feel that something is out of my control, not that I want to control everyone or everything, but I tend to have an order, a planning of how I want things to turn out and when they don't happen that way my brain goes off at a mile a minute thinking "what if I had done it this way?", "it would have looked nicer this way", "what if by not doing this, this other thing happens? ", tending to create scenarios in my head, the funny thing about this is that I wasn't like that before, rather I was quite relaxed, something that I still don't decipher exactly has to have happened to unleash that kind of thought structure in my head, I'm working on that to find a balance between being organized and being relaxed, not taking any of the two behaviors to the extreme, because it really can become a mental torture, because even with the smallest thing I get disturbed, but as I mentioned here I' m looking for the balance and working on it, I believe in myself and I know I will manage to find the middle ground 😁✨.
