Mi manada
Cuando pensé en crear mi cuenta dije soy una más del clan Santacruz así que mi nombre artístico @soyunasantacruz 😜 es parte del sentido de manada que tengo, como me lo comentó la creadora de esta iniciativa @mosa71 , pero hoy no vengo hablarte de mi manada Santacruz sino de mi manada materna, que es con la que convivo día a día.
Esta manada es pequeña de fuertes garras, nos cuidamos y protegemos ante cualquier dificultad, la tigra mayor y es que así la llamamos es mi abuela Ana Teodocia, ella es una carnívora empedernida, le gusta comer carne todos los días como buena llanera, cuando una comida no tiene carne solo come lo que le gusta y siempre deja algo en el plato, pero si tiene carne se lo devora y hasta pide más, por eso en casa la llamamos la tigra 😆
My herd
When I thought of creating my account I said I am one more of the Santacruz clan so my artistic name @soyunasantacruz 😜 is part of the sense of herd that I have, as the creator of this initiative @mosa71 told me, but today I do not come to talk about my Santacruz herd but about my maternal herd, which is the one I live with every day.
This herd is small with strong claws, we take care of each other and protect each other in case of any difficulty, the biggest tigra and that is how we call her is my grandmother Ana Teodocia, she is an inveterate carnivore, she likes to eat meat every day as a good llanera, when a meal has no meat she only eats what she likes and always leaves something on the plate, but if it has meat she devours it and even asks for more, that's why at home we call her the tigra 😆.
Ella es de carácter fuerte, incansable para el trabajo y aunque no expresaba (ya tiene memoria senil) el amor por sus hijos con gestos de cariños, porque el cansancio la vencía, lo demostraba al cuidar de ellos en alguna enfermedad y al trabajar casi todo el día para que no les faltara nada. Desde pequeña fui una de las que disfruto correr por el patio mientras mi abuela me perseguía para darme unos buenos correazos, hoy disfruto cuando me peina y así la entretengo un momento y la obligó a sentarse porque a sus 91 años la hiperactividad sigue en ella.
Mi abuela era una tigra o una leona a la hora de defender a sus hijos de extraños y también a la hora de corregirlos, yo doy gracias a Dios que fui su nieta y no su hija porque me fuera tocado bastantes correazos o magerazos. Hoy en día sigue siendo fuerte cuando me toma por el brazo y me sienta a donde ella diga, bañarla es una odisea y más cuando mi abuela no quiere, me las tengo que ingeniar para ponerla de buen humor o hacer malabarismos para esquivar las patadas voladoras que me lanza, pues posee una agilidad y flexibilidad como pocas y no estoy exagerando.
Tengo mucho que decir de mi abuela, pero mejor paso a la Jefa de casa, mi mamá es una mujer llena de amor que se le olvida quererse a ella misma antes que a los demás descuidando su salud, la amo y a pesar de su dulzura es una mujer aguerrida para defender su manada, con una sabiduría como pocas me cuida y lo sigue haciendo de las personas como malas intenciones. Es mi mayor tesoro y bendición, sin ella no sé que sería de mi vida.
She is of strong character, tireless for work and although she did not express (she already has a senile memory) her love for her children with affectionate gestures, because tiredness overcame her, she showed it by taking care of them in some illness and working almost all day so that they would not lack anything. Since I was a little girl I was one of those who enjoyed running around the yard while my grandmother chased me to give me a few good runs, today I enjoy when she combs my hair and that way I entertain her for a moment and forced her to sit down because at 91 years old, hyperactivity is still in her.
My grandmother was a tigra or a lioness when it came to defending her children from strangers and also when it came to correcting them, I thank God that I was her granddaughter and not her daughter because I got a lot of scoldings. Today she is still strong when she takes me by the arm and sits me wherever she says, bathing her is an odyssey and even more when my grandmother does not want to, I have to manage to put her in a good mood or juggle to dodge the flying kicks she throws at me, because she has an agility and flexibility like few others and I am not exaggerating.
I have a lot to say about my grandmother, but I'd better move on to the head of the house, my mom is a woman full of love who forgets to love herself before others, neglecting her health, I love her and despite her sweetness she is a tough woman to defend her herd, with a wisdom like few others she takes care of me and continues to do so from people with bad intentions. She is my greatest treasure and blessing, without her I don't know what my life would be.
Otra mujer de mi manada es mi tía Martina, ella es una mujer con síndrome de Down fuerte, protectora, colaboradora y parte importante de mi hogar, trabajamos en equipo para cuidar a mi abuela y los hacemos entre mi mamá, mi tía y yo, porque hay que vivir el trabajo que nos da mi abuela, solo nosotros lo sabemos.
Mi tía es la hermana que no tuve, al final de nuestro tiempo sé que estaremos las dos para protegernos. Estas mujeres son las que forman mi manada, las que cuidan, protegen, aman y están en cada parte relevante de mi vida.
Anécdota
En mi adolescencia fui acosada por un joven delincuente de mi barrio, él me enamoraba y siempre estaba atento para interceptarme en la calle a la hora de hacer un mandado, era una angustia salir de casa, yo tendría como 12 años. Una noche salí y no me dejaba entrar a casa porque me puso la condición que lo besara ajuro además de otro amigo de él, ambos de mal proceder, en eso pasaron muchos minutos y mi mamá con mi abuela salieron a buscarme encontrándome acorralada con este joven y su amigo, mi abuela quería quitarles la cabeza y llamar a mi papá, eso hubiese formado el gran lío, pero mi mamá que es muy inteligente les habló de forma pacífica y los convenció de que así no me iban a enamorar. 🥴😒😏
Así que mi mamá les dijo que podían visitarme y primero hacerse mis amigos. Obviamente, la intención de mi mamá era que dejaran de molestarme y se fueran. Al día siguiente se aparecieron los dos arreglados y con su cabeza llena de gelatina, hacerme la visita, yo salí con una cara de pocos amigos y ni les hablaba, eso se repitió por varios días hasta que dejaron de ir.
Ellos dejaron de fastidiarme con tanta frecuencia, y al final estos jóvenes se volvieron asesinos y delincuentes peligros, estuvieron presos y los asesinaron años después, pero gracias a esa intervención de mi mamá, ellos no quedaron con odio hacia nosotras y se evitó un enfrentamiento con mi papá. Mi mamá siempre protegió a su manada de forma inteligente.
Another woman in my pack is my aunt Martina, she is a strong woman with Down syndrome, protective, collaborative and an important part of my home, we work as a team to take care of my grandmother and we do it between my mom, my aunt and me, because we have to live the work that my grandmother gives us, only we know that.
My aunt is the sister I didn't have, at the end of our time I know that we will both be there to protect each other. These women are the ones who form my pack, the ones who care, protect, love and are in every relevant part of my life.
Anecdote
In my adolescence I was harassed by a young delinquent in my neighborhood, he had a crush on me and was always on the lookout to intercept me in the street at the time of running an errand, it was an anguish to leave the house, I would have been about 12 years old. One night I went out and he would not let me enter home because he put the condition that I kissed him ajuro plus another friend of his, both of them of bad behavior, in that many minutes passed and my mom with my grandmother went out to look for me finding me cornered with this young man and his friend, my grandmother wanted to take off their heads and call my dad, that would have formed the big mess, but my mom who is very intelligent spoke to them in a peaceful way and convinced them that this way they were not going to make me fall in love. 🥴😒😏
So my mom told them they could visit me and first become my friends. Obviously, my mom's intention was for them to stop bothering me and leave. The next day they both showed up all dressed up and with their heads full of jelly, pay me a visit, I left with a face of few friends and didn't even talk to them, that was repeated for several days until they stopped going.
They stopped bothering me so often, and in the end these young men became murderers and dangerous delinquents, they were imprisoned and murdered years later, but thanks to my mother's intervention, they did not remain with hatred towards us and a confrontation with my father was avoided. My mom always protected her herd in a smart way.
