Greetings, my dear friends, welcome to a new installment of my blog. The topic I am going to share with you this time is of great importance at a general level, since many times we hear about people who suffer from a particular condition and we simply ignore the information we are receiving because we say we don't need it.
It turns out that this was my thinking a few years ago, but today that misconception has changed and it is important to know widely each of the different behaviors of human beings and in my case in particular, to implement innovative strategies, so that the teaching and learning process is effective for all students, regardless of whether it is a neurotypical or neuroatypical person.
The current educational reality has been very changing and along with it we have had to learn to be inclusive and allow people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to be admitted to an educational institution and receive classes along with other students who are not (ASD), it should be noted that this has always had its advantages and disadvantages. At the beginning, I was one of the group that criticized and flatly refused to accept their admission to the educational institution, this for reasons of comfort and not having to work more than I had to.
However, I have been able to change my perception in this regard and open my range of possibilities and visualize that these situations are a real life challenge to acquire and above all to be part of that small group of teachers who transcend in the lives of students and dedicate that extra time to approach with didactic and innovative strategies different from the traditional teaching-learning model.
In this way I have been able to confirm that the blue goals are possible to achieve, that they can become professional and develop great talents and skills if we make a timely accompaniment and there is a joint commitment between teachers, who attend them, a psychopedagogist to guide the educational staff that is not trained in this area and very important the support and commitment of parents to make a reinforcement and effective monitoring of their progress.
Even though I have not worked for a school year in the classroom with a student (ASD), last year I had the option to be part of the achievement of their goals from the barrier as they say over there, it turns out that one morning during a conversation between the Biology teacher and myself, a young boy approaches and tells the teacher that he had difficulty understanding the subject he was teaching, at that time was Mendell's Law, the teacher only replied that he should pay more attention to the explanation of the class and the boy with some shyness left.
I felt some discomfort for the teacher's response and then I approached the boy and I offered to explain to him in my free time, as I was in the administrative area and I was continuously making my rounds through the corridors and I could explain this topic, with some sorrow he accepted my proposal and although I did not have the support of his parents, since they have never accepted his condition, the young man was eager to improve himself and always showed a willingness to attend my guidance.
There I understood that his emotions and state of mind are essential for him to be able to learn, that I could not go on for too long during my explanations because this was exhausting for him, he would get blocked and this would put him in a bad mood. But at the end of the school year I could see how this young man proudly received his bachelor's degree and this made me feel prouder than seeing the rest of the graduates achieve this great goal.
So when I read the publication of my friend @parauri, touching this important topic such as the blue goals, it seemed appropriate to share this beautiful life experience and thus confirm that everything is possible if there is a teamwork and coordinated with the person who has the condition ASD, so do not become your dear parent, teacher or friend in the main obstacle for them to succeed in life and on the contrary provides all the right help in the process.
If we delve a little deeper into the history of great scientists and other people who have made a significant contribution to the world, we can see that even when many years ago the (ASD) was not a known term, much later it has been discovered that these studious and meticulous people when solving a mathematical puzzle or making a great discovery for science had similar characteristics of the Autism Spectrum and today have transcended in history and will continue to do so because they are exceptionally bright people.

Saludos, mis estimados amigos, bienvenidos a una nueva entrega a través de mi blog. El tema que les voy a compartir en esta oportunidad es de suma importancia a nivel general, ya que en muchas ocasiones escuchamos hablar de personas que padecen de alguna condición en particular y simplemente ignoramos la información que estamos recibiendo porque expresamos que no la necesitamos.
Resulta que este era mi pensar hace unos años atrás, pero en la actualidad esa concepción errónea ha cambiado y es que resulta importante conocer ampliamente cada una de las diferentes conductas del ser humano y en mi caso en especial, el poder implementar estrategias innovadoras, a tal fin que el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje sea eficaz para todos los educandos, independientemente de que sea una persona neurotípica o neuroatipico.
La realidad educativa en la actualidad ha sido muy cambiante y junto a ella hemos tenido que aprender a ser inclusivos y permitir que las personas con algún trastorno de espectro autista (TEA) sea ingresado a una institución educativa y reciba las clases junto a otro número de estudiantes que no sean (TEA), cabe destacar que esto siempre ha tenido sus ventajas y desventajas. En un principio yo era del grupo que criticaba y se negaba rotundamente a aceptar su ingreso al plantel educativo, esto por factores de comodidad y no tener que trabajar más de lo que me correspondía.
Sin embargo, he podido cambiar mi percepción al respecto y abrir mi abanico de posibilidades y visualizar que estas situaciones es un verdadero reto de vida a adquirir y sobre todo ser parte de ese pequeño grupo de docentes que trascienden en la vida de los estudiantes y le dedica ese tiempo extra para abordar con estrategias didácticas e innovadoras distintas al modelo de enseñanza-aprendizaje tradicional.
De esta manera he podido constatar que las metas azules son posibles de alcanzar, que ellos pueden llegar a profesionalizarse y desarrollar grandes talentos y habilidades si le hacemos un acompañamiento oportuno y existe un compromiso en conjunto entre los docentes, que lo atienden, un psicopedagogo para orientar al personal educativo que no esté capacitado en esta área y muy importante el apoyo y compromiso de los padres para que le hagan un refuerzo y seguimiento eficaz a sus avances.
Aun cuando no he trabajado durante un año escolar en el aula con algún estudiante (TEA), el año pasado tuve la opción de ser partícipe del alcance de sus metas desde la barrera como dicen por allí, resulta que una mañana durante una conversación entre el profesor de Biología y mi persona, se acerca un jovencito y le expresa al docente que tenía dificultad para comprender el tema que le estaba impartiendo, en ese momento eran la Ley de Mendell, el docente solo le respondió que debía atender más a la explicación de la clase y el chico con algo de timidez se retiró.
Yo sentí algo de molestia por la respuesta del profesor y luego me le acerque al chico y me le ofrecí para explicarle en mi tiempo libre, como yo estaba en el área administrativa y continuamente estaba haciendo mis rondas por los pasillos que me ubicara y yo le podía explicar este tema, el con algo de pena acepto mi propuesta y aunque no conté con el apoyo de sus padres, ya que ellos nunca han aceptado su condición, el joven tenía muchas ganas de superarse y mostro siempre una buena disposición a atender mis orientaciones.
Allí entendí que sus emociones y estado de ánimo son primordiales para el poder aprender, que no podía extenderme mucho durante mis explicaciones porque esto resultaba agotador para él, se bloqueaba y esto lo ponía de mal humor. Pero al finalizar el año escolar pude ver como este jovencito recibió orgullosamente su título de bachiller y esto me hizo sentir más orgullosa que el ver al resto de los graduandos alcanzar esa gran meta.
Por ello cuando leí la publicación de la amiga @parauri, tocando este tema tan importante como lo son las metas azules, me pareció oportuno compartir esta bonita experiencia de vida y de esta manera constatar que todo es posible si existe un trabajo en equipo y coordinado con la persona que padece la condición TEA, así que no te vuelvas tu querido padre, docente u amigo en el principal obstáculo para que ellos triunfen en la vida y por el contario aporta toda la ayuda idónea en el proceso.
Si profundizamos un poco la historia de los grandes científicos y otras personas que han dado un aporte significativo al mundo, podemos evidenciar que aun cuando hace muchos años el (TEA) no era un término conocido, mucho después se ha descubierto que estas personas estudiosas y meticulosas a la hora de resolver un acertijo matemático o de hacer un gran descubrimiento para la ciencia tenían características similares del Espectro Autista y hoy por hoy han trascendido en la historia y lo continuaran haciendo porque son personas excepcionalmente brillantes.
