¿Una sonrisa? (Esp/Eng)

How many smiling people around us in our daily lives? You will say, nobody smiles anymore in every situation that is experienced anywhere in the world, family situations, work, financial, others (there is no time for it)...on the other hand, we stop and a not so large percentage smiles.

Surely you would think if he is smiling everything is fine.

We find ourselves in so many scenes when we hear about situations of people close to us and we think they are dying (a way of saying to someone when they are going through drastic situations) ah, but they are smiling; we don't realise that that smile hides something deep inside for individual reasons of that person.

Those smiles that we look at and if we know the moment of that person is not sincere, it hides something. It tells us through that smile I look fine, nobody should know what is happening to me, don't ask me anything...it is something like this: I am hiding from the world.

There may be reasons why this person with a smile on his face hides things, such as pain, loneliness, suffering, he does not see achievements in his journey through life, or what he once dreamed of, he does not see as feasible, or he has made a life for himself trying to make life for others by imposing his ideas, it is difficult for him to open up to sustain his appearance of strength.

We live in a society that with the passing of generations, years after years we have hidden ourselves in a smile, there is a slogan that says that in bad times, good times, good face... I think that most of us have done it to hide things. A mask that we don't even realise we have begun to form.

There is a lot of talk about depression now more than ever, this has to do with it. The smile is there to hide out of weakness or not to be judged by friends and family. Among the many theories about depression is that it is not only present in those people who do not want to get out of bed, they refuse to do activities, there is denial that something is happening ... there is the other part of people who are active 100%, are loaded every day with more activities and also hide those hidden feelings, very well hidden to not show fear, pain, they are always active, but just as they are active, when they are alone they feel great bitterness and their faces are no longer smiling.

There are many writings about depression, personal stories, stories from family members, how they have been overcome, how the process is going and also how they should be kept in acceptable mental health. The world of emotions is very vulnerable...that sea of thoughts is always there. Always thinking about tomorrow or yesterday. So also there are many suggestions from specialists about this evil called depression. Defined as a disease...because it is an organic distortion that affects the being. There are people with another preparation based on millenary theories to calm the being.

There is a contradiction between those who point only to specialists in the area of psychology and those who, after consulting professionals, start to accept the millenary theories in search of wellbeing.

The convulsive society in which we develop and the culture of having feed this need not to have peace of mind as a result of leading the organism to smile in order not to cry.

And what is your smile hiding?
