El cambio mas importante ha sido en la mayoría de las personas y la manera de ver la vida, la apreciamos más que nunca, la pandemia nos obligó a aislarnos para proteger nuestra vida, pudimos compartir más con nuestros seres queridos en casa, en mi caso antes de la pandemia había solicitado mi jubilación por motivos de salud y ya contar con los años para ello. Pude compartir más tiempo con mis hijos que se encontraban en la primaria en ese entonces y con mi esposo ya jubilado.
Mi esposo y yo por edad y patologías nos encontrabamos en los grupos de riesgo, sinceramente sentimos mucho temor ante este virus, siempre recibíamos llamadas llenas de preocupación de los hijos mayores de mi esposo pero a dios gracias siempre la prevención por delante y salimos airosos de esta pandemia. Cuando surgieron las vacunas, fuimos de los primeros en recibirlas , actualmente contamos con 3 dosis de sinopharm, las cuales hemos recibido sin presentar hasta ahora algún efecto adverso.
Hello friends, back in one of the initiatives of Holos Lotus, this time in a very nice one from the friend @charjaim which deals with love in the times of COVID, this terrible virus that for 2 years hit us mercilessly and is still in the air, it has mutated but at least we have vaccines and more awareness on the subject.it has been difficult times for humanity, we have all experienced changes in the midst of hard situations, we have felt close losses of acquaintances, loved ones, motivated by this virus.
The most important change has been in most people and the way we see life, we appreciate it more than ever, the pandemic forced us to isolate ourselves to protect our lives, we could share more with our loved ones at home, in my case before the pandemic I had requested my retirement for health reasons and already have the years to do so. I was able to share more time with my children who were in elementary school at the time and with my retired husband.
My husband and I, due to our age and pathologies, were in the risk groups. We were always receiving calls full of concern from my husband's older children, but thank God, we always put prevention first and we came out of this pandemic with flying colors. When the vaccines came out, we were among the first to receive them, currently we have 3 doses of Sinopharm, which we have received so far without any adverse effects.
Transcurrido el año en pandemia, recibí de parte de una amiga quien participa en labores sociales unos equipos médicos (tensiómetro, nebulizador, termómetro y oxímetro) , la idea era ayudar a las personas en mi comunidad durante la pandemia. Vivo en una comunidad humilde que al igual que la mayoría del país sufre por no contar con instituciones hospitalarias dotadas, los pocos médicos que han pasado por el centro asistencial han tenido que trabajar sin contar con muchos recursos.
Gracias a estos equipos niños y adultos fueron beneficiados, incluso una vez vacunada inicie visitas para apoyar a ancianos, conté con la ayuda al inicio de una doctora que trabajaba en la comunidad para ese entonces, ella me ayudó a censar para conocer la población hipertensa y asmática. Aún me orienta y apoya cuando lo necesito.Puedo decir con propiedad que muchos hemos cambiado, ha aflorado la bondad de nuestros corazones y nos hemos desprendido de lo material para ayudar a otros.
Aun continuo con esta labor social, de hecho dono medicamentos a personas necesitadas de mi comunidad, la mayoría son ancianos, personas que conozco desde niña y hoy para mi es grato ayudarles en esta etapa de vejez. Un anciano es un tesoro lleno de sabiduría y en mi comunidad quedan pocos porque tristemente algunos fallecieron durante la pandemia.
Amor, hermosa palabra que lleva consigo un sentimiento enorme que puede manifestarse en afectos, en bondad, la vida es un tesoro valioso que todos deseamos. El mundo necesita de personas que valoren la vida, que actuen de corazón porque esta pandemia nos ha tocado muy fuerte y hemos aprendido a compartir, a perdonar , a aceptar al otro, a convivir.
After the pandemic year, I received from a friend who participates in social work some medical equipment (blood pressure monitor, nebulizer, thermometer and oximeter), the idea was to help people in my community during the pandemic. I live in a humble community that, like most of the country, suffers from the lack of equipped hospital institutions. The few doctors who have worked in the health care center have had to work without many resources.
Thanks to these teams children and adults were benefited, even once vaccinated I started visits to support the elderly, I had the help at the beginning of a doctor who worked in the community at that time, she helped me to census to know the hypertensive and asthmatic population. She still guides and supports me when I need it. I can properly say that many of us have changed, the goodness of our hearts has surfaced and we have let go of material things to help others.
I still continue with this social work, in fact I donate medicines to needy people in my community, most of them are elderly, people I have known since I was a child and today it is a pleasure for me to help them in this stage of old age. An elderly person is a treasure full of wisdom and in my community there are few left because sadly some died during the pandemic.
Love, a beautiful word that carries with it an enormous feeling that can manifest itself in affection, in kindness, life is a valuable treasure that we all desire. The world needs people who value life, who act from the heart because this pandemic has touched us very hard and we have learned to share, to forgive, to accept others, to live together.
