El miércoles 25 de mayo, estaba sentada leyendo un rato sobre un programa que se llevaría a cabo en el servidor de #holos-lotus con las amigas @damarysvibra y @miriannalis sobre un tema bien interesante "El ego". En eso llegó mi hija estuvo un rato conmigo, pero la llamaron del trabajo y tenía que irse, yo le dije que me dejara a mi nieto, en primer lugar, porque adoro estar con él y segundo para que ella pudiera ir a trabajar tranquila. Cuando mi hija me deja a mi nieto yo paso a ser una niña, me besa, me abraza, me aprieta los brazos, los cachetes, las manos, el goza un puyero, busco alegrarle toda la estadía aquí en la casa.
Luego de una larga sesión de juegos con él, procedo acomodar todo para darle un rico baño y entregárselo a mi hija arregladito para cenar y dormir.
Me dirigí al calentador de agua, encendí un suiche que le tenemos aparte del breker de la electricidad, busqué la bañera, bañé a mi nieto, pero luego de haber terminado de bañarlo, se me olvidó apagarlo, algo muy sencillo que no me iba a quitar nada de tiempo, pero muy lamentable es que lo olvidé por completo.

When my daughter leaves my grandson with me I become a little girl, he kisses me, hugs me, squeezes my arms, my cheeks, my hands, he enjoys a lot, I try to make his whole stay here at home happy
After a long session of games with him, I proceed to arrange everything to give him a nice bath and give him to my daughter ready for dinner and sleep
I went to the water heater, I turned on a suiche that we have apart from the electricity breker, I looked for the bathtub, I bathed my grandson, but after having finished bathing him, I forgot to turn it off, something very simple that was not going to take me any time, but very unfortunate is that I forgot it completely
Pero ocurrió algo inesperado, el calentador tiene un tapón de plástico que le tuvimos que colocar de manera provisional por un problema que tenía, pero como siempre que las personas medio parapetean lo que se dañó, lo que medio arreglan, quieren que dure eternamente.
Después que lo bañé lo acosté, no durmió mucho al rato estaba despierto. Al despertarse, él se puso a jugar con algunas cosas que están cerca del calentador, en ese momento tocaron el timbre llegó un delivery con una comida que mi hija me envió, pero antes de salir, lo cargué y lo aparté de donde estaba, no lo dejé en el espacio donde el juega sino más hacia la sala y le dije: "Quédate tranquilito Asier, ya vengo". Salí a recibir la comida y al entrar escucho como un ruido como cuando se explota un caucho y se escucha saliendo el aire o un globo y empieza, a buscar de donde viene el ruido, cuando me acerco salió el tapón disparado y más atrás el chorro de agua caliente me cae en los brazos y en el abdomen. El tapón gracias a, Dios no me pegó, mi reacción en el momento fue correr a apagarlo. Luego de toda esta situación me enteré que cuando ocurren cosas como esas con el calentador, no se debe apagar porque puede haber un corto circuito porque tiene corriente acumulada el calentador, pero cómo voy a saber eso yo, mi primera reacción fue apagarlo para proteger a mi nieto.

I went out to receive the food and when I came in I heard a noise like when a rubber is exploded and you hear the air or a balloon coming out and start looking for where the noise came from, when I approached the plug came out and further back the jet of hot water fell on my arms and abdomen. Thank God, the plug did not hit me, my reaction at the time was to run to turn it off. After this whole situation I learned that when things like that happen with the heater, you should not turn it off because there may be a short circuit because the heater has accumulated current, but how would I know that, my first reaction was to turn it off to protect my grandson
Cuando apagué el calentador, me cayó agua caliente en las manos, brazo y abdomen, yo le decía a mi nieto: “Quédate tranquilito mi amor, voy a secar esto y ahorita comemos”, él solo me miraba como si supiera que me pasaba algo, el dolor en donde me cayó agua caliente empezó aumentar la intensidad. Después de secar todo, fui rápido por sábila que tengo en el patio, la corté y limpié para colocármela en los lugares donde me había quemado, me aliviaba por un rato, pero ya luego no me calmaba nada, el brazo se había tornado de un color rojizo muy fuerte.
Estuve en el programa con @damarysvibra y @miriannalis y su agradable audiencia, todo muy bien gracias a Dios, pero para mí fue muy fuerte, pasar todo el programa aguantando el ardor, de verdad, me considero una persona responsable, y tenía que cumplir con el compromiso adquirido. Sin embargo en ese tiempo del programa me sentí muy bien, fue un programa de mucho aprendizaje.
Por supuesto, toda la noche no pude dormir, por el dolor y malestar. En la mañana siguiente me levanté bien temprano para disponerme a ir por atención médica en el IVSS (Seguro Social) de la zona donde vivo, al llegar allí, me consigo que el lugar está bien limpio, la enfermeras bien arregladitas, con tremendas uñas postizas, que yo me imaginaba, como esas mujeres se colocarían los guantes con esas uñotas, ja, ja, ja, el hecho es que cuando me examinaron me dijeron: “No señora, aquí no la podemos atender, eso es quemadura de segundo grado y lamentablemente este centro asistencial no está dotado para ese tipo de quemadura, me indicaron que me dirigiera a otro centro asistencial que está más atendido por el gobernador y está más dotado de medicamentos para eso, de verdad, con ese dolor lo que menos quería era seguir saltando de un lado a otro, ¡Qué dolor por todo lo que tenemos que pasar los venezolanos que no contamos con la parte monetaria para ser atendidos en clínicas!
Me devolví a mi casa, hablé con la dueña de la farmacia que está cerca de mi casa, compré todo lo que me indicaron para poderme realizar la cura, contacté con una doctora de esta urbanización que ve a domicilio, por supuesto que tuve que bajarme de la mula, pero hice ese sacrificio para poder ser atendida en mi propia casa, solo ameritó un cuarto bien frío para poderme realizar las dos primeras curas, ya luego me explicó cómo yo debía hacerme las curas.
El calentador es un aparato eléctrico que tiene mucha duración pero no por eso debemos creer que es inmortal, que nunca se va a dañar, debe ser cuidado muy bien, no debe estar expuesto a temperaturas ambientales altas, todo lo contrario debe estar protegido de eso, por supuesto no debió tener ese tapón en el caso del nuestro, eso fue para resolver una problemática momentáneamente, pero como todo venezolano, pasó en mi casa también, al ver que se soluciona el problema pues nos olvidamos de repararlo como es debido, muchas veces tienen que pasar las cosas para poder aprender, lamentablemente quizá pagamos los platos rotos los que no debemos, pero este tipo de cosas no deberían ocurrir en los hogares, debemos ser muy cuidadosos con todo lo que tenga que ver con electricidad. En el fondo agradezco que todo me pasó a mí. Cada vez que me dolía pensar que pudo ser mi nieto me aliviaba. De verdad menos mal que no fue otro miembro de la familia hubiese sufrido el triple.

I was in the program with @damarysvibra and @miriannalis and their nice audience, all very well thanks to God, but for me it was very strong, to spend the whole program enduring the burning, really, I consider myself a responsible person, and I had to fulfill the commitment made. However, during that time of the program I felt very well, it was a program of much learning
Of course, all night I could not sleep, because of the pain and discomfort. The next morning I got up very early to get ready to go for medical attention at the IVSS (Social Security) in the area where I live, when I got there, I find that the place is very clean, the nurses are well groomed, with tremendous false nails, which I imagined, how those women would put on gloves with those nails, ha, ha, ha, ha, the fact is that when they examined me they told me: "No ma'am, we cannot treat you here, that is a second degree burn and unfortunately this health care center is not equipped for that type of burn, they told me to go to another health care center that is better attended by the governor and is better equipped with medicines for that, really, with that pain the last thing I wanted was to keep jumping from one place to another, What a pain for all that we Venezuelans have to go through, we Venezuelans who do not have the money to be treated in clinics!
I went back home, I talked to the owner of the pharmacy that is near my house, I bought everything they told me to be able to make the cure, I contacted a doctor of this urbanization that sees home, of course I had to get off the mule, but I made that sacrifice to be treated in my own home, I only needed a very cold room to make the first two cures, and then explained how I should make the cures
The heater is an electrical device that lasts a long time, but we should not believe that it is immortal, that it will never be damaged, it should be well cared for, it should not be exposed to high environmental temperatures, on the contrary, it should be protected from that, of course it should not have that plug in the case of ours, that was to solve a problem momentarily, But like all Venezuelans, it happened in my house too, when we saw that the problem was solved we forgot to repair it properly, many times things have to happen in order to learn, unfortunately maybe we pay for the broken dishes those who should not, but this kind of things should not happen in homes, we must be very careful with everything that has to do with electricity. Deep down I am thankful that it all happened to me. Every time it pained me to think that it could have been my grandson I was relieved. It's really a good thing it wasn't another family member who would have suffered three times as much
Antes de utilizar un calentador revisa bien los cables que no estén deteriorados, ni polvo acumulado, ni ruidos, si piensas que algo dentro del calentador no está funcionando bien, apágalo, no sigas usándolo así.
Le doy mil gracias a Dios no le pasó nada a mi nieto, y lo que me pasó a mí no fue algo más grave y ya lo superé.
Recuerda siempre, si eres cabeza de casa, cuida de la seguridad de tu hogar, no te descuides en el mantenimiento del lugar donde vives y las cosas que hay en él, recuerden que viven bajo ese mismo techo y debe haber protección y no peligro. No es que por eso no existirán más accidentes, pero por lo menos se evitarán muchos percances y peligros.
Before using a heater, check that the wires are not damaged, no dust accumulated, no noises, if you think that something inside the heater is not working well, turn it off, do not continue using it like that
I thank God nothing happened to my grandson, and what happened to me was not something more serious and I got over it
Always remember, if you are the head of the house, take care of the security of your home, do not neglect the maintenance of the place where you live and the things that are in it, remember that you live under the same roof and there must be protection and not danger. It is not that for that reason there will be no more accidents, but at least many mishaps and dangers will be avoided
