Luego de varios días mirla que es una mujer empática siente en su nuevo jefe la sensación de triteza, de intranquilidad que trata de ocultar bajo una coraza de perfecion y efectividad en el trabajo.

En esto el hombre sorprendido por la serenidad de Mirla baja el tono y solo le pide que lo mantenga al tanto, toma un café (ella ha notado que bebé café como si fuera agua) y entra a su oficina.

Las cosas siguen si curso normal pero ahora es el ocupado ejecutivo quien observa cuidadosamente a la empleada en su tranquilidad, tratando de encontrar fallas a quien opera en sus actividades de una forma literalmente opuesta a él, pero pasaban los días y nada, la mujer cada vez se desempeñaba mejor, siempre le daba un trato amable, y poco a poco el hombre fue cediendo y abriendose un poco a ella.

Un día la mujer le pregunto en qué sitio le gustaba ir al hombre y este le respondió que lo que más lo calmaba era la playa, sin pensarlo ella le propuso que fuesen para allá.

El hombre titubeó un poco pero al final fueron, y allí parecía otra persona, relajado bromeando, hasta encantador parecía el hombre, a ella le inquietaba ese cambio de actitud tan drástico y le preguntó.

• Roberto porque usted es siempre tan rígido?
• Simplemente era lo que esperaba todo el mundo de mi, desde mis padres, en el colegio, siempre fui un estudiante destacado nadie nunca se preocupo por hablar sobre como hacer las cosas, suponían que yo lo iba a hacer todo bien y nunca me explicaron nada, por eso es que me valoran, ese es mi valor

Así la mujer comprendió muchas cosas pero luego le pregunto.

A esto Mirla respondió;

• Si puedes, siempre recuerda al mar en el trabajo busca un espacio para ti, no de entregues a las expectativas de otros, solo así podrás encontrar la paz

Desde ese día Roberto mantiene una foto del mar en su oficina, y grabaciones del sonido del mar, se va a un lugar feliz por unos minutos cuando está muy complicado el día, el ambiente es el mismo pero ahora el tiene un momento de paz, que lo mantiene vivo y contento.

• It was just what everybody expected from me, from my parents, at school, I was always an outstanding student, nobody ever bothered to talk about how to do things, they assumed I was going to do everything right and they never explained anything to me, that's why they value me, that's my value.

So the woman understood many things but then she asked him.
