Saludos, mi apreciada gente de Hive Blockchain. Vamos avanzando en este año nuevo 2022 y, ya estamos observando todo el gran entusiasmo que los usuarios de esta gran blockchain le están imprimiendo. Y la comunidad de @holos-lotus, ha colocado una convocatoria muy interesante para expresar y mostrar este entusiasmo. Se trata de la iniciativa "Mis cinco objetivos principales para 2022", donde nos invitan a compartir esas metas, anhelos, proyectos o deseos que queremos lograr en este 2022. Me ha gustado muchísimo observar y disfrutar de la gran acogida que ha tenido esta iniciativa y es por ello que acá les dejo mi participación.

Greetings, my dear people of Hive Blockchain. We are moving forward in this new year 2022 and we are already observing, all the great enthusiasm that the users of this great blockchain are printing it. And the community of @holos-lotus has placed a very interesting call to express and show this enthusiasm. It is the initiative "My top five goals for 2022", where they invite us to share those goals, desires, projects, or dreams that we want to achieve in 2022. I was very pleased to observe and enjoy the great reception this initiative has had and that is why here I leave you my participation.

Mis cinco objetivos principales para 2022

Cada comienzo de año es en sí, un reto. Muchos terminan el final del año evaluando los resultados y comienzan un nuevo año con nuevos objetivos y metas. Aunque no soy muy dado para planificar metódicamente mis proyectos, debo reconocer que 2021 fue un año de muchos logros para mí. Recuerdo que a principios del segundo trimestre del año pasado, me había colocado como meta, alcanzar a tener al menos $1000 a final del año. Y aunque no lo hice por escrito o muy formalmente, ciertamente, logre ese objetivo. Eso me llena de mucha satisfacción.

My top five goals for 2022

Every beginning of the year is a challenge in itself. Many finish the end of the year evaluating the results and start a new year with new objectives and goals. Although I am not very given to methodically planning my projects, I must admit that 2021 was a year of many achievements for me. I remember that at the beginning of the second quarter of last year, I had set myself the goal of having at least $1000 by the end of the year. And although I did not do it in writing or very formally, I certainly achieved that goal. That gives me a lot of satisfaction.

1.- Objetivos Financieros

Pensando en ese logro del año pasado, me he establecido como meta para este año 2022, terminar el año con al menos $15000 en mis finanzas. Quizás en otras latitudes, esta cantidad parezca irrisoria o fácil de alcanzar. Pero en Venezuela, con la grave situación social, económica y política que padecemos, esta cifra representa una fortuna. Y esta meta esta íntimamente ligada con mis deseos de tener bajo absoluto control mis finanzas personales. Este año que paso, me llevo a descubrir y aprender sobre las oportunidades que representan las DeFi 2.0. Y es por ello, que mis objetivos están planteados a construir todo un portafolio de inversiones en diferentes proyectos de este tipo. Para ello, ya he comenzado invirtiendo una pequeña cantidad en la plataforma de nuestra blockchain, BeeSwap y he estado incrementando mi participación en Splinterlands, que también nos ofrece un interesante retorno por nuestra inversión.

1.- Financial Goals

Thinking about last year's achievement, I have set as a goal for this year 2022, to finish the year with at least $15000 in my finances. Perhaps in other latitudes, this amount may seem derisory or easy to achieve. But in Venezuela, with the serious social, economic and political situation we are suffering, this figure represents a fortune. And this goal is intimately linked to my desire to have my personal finances under absolute control. This past year has led me to discover and learn about the opportunities that DeFi 2.0 represents. And that is why my objectives are set to build a whole portfolio of investments in different projects of this type. For this, I have already started investing a small amount in our blockchain platform, BeeSwap and I have been increasing my participation in Splinterlands, which also offers us an interesting return on our investment.

2.- Actualización en Tecnologías

La inversión y adecuación de las herramientas tecnológicas, es una prioridad para todos aquellos que generamos ingresos del trabajo en línea. Poseo un equipo bastante antiguo y que me ha resultado fantástico, por el excelente desempeño que ha tenido hasta este momento. Ya hasta cariño le tengo y le he agregado algunas actualizaciones, pero definitivamente, ya su tiempo le ha llegado. Es por ello que, me he planteado adquirir tanto una laptop como una PC de escritorio antes de lo primeros seis meses de este año. Eso sumado al equipo celular, que también será actualizado en su momento oportuno. Además, me serán muy útiles para lograr mis otros objetivos.

2.- Technology Updating

The investment and adaptation of technological tools is a priority for all of us who generate income from online work. I own a fairly old computer that has been fantastic for me, because of the excellent performance it has had until now. I've even grown fond of it and have added some updates, but its time has definitely come. That is why I have considered acquiring both a laptop and a desktop PC before the first six months of this year. That plus the cellular equipment, which will also be upgraded in due time. Besides, they will be very useful to achieve my other goals.

3.- Aprender Inglés

Llevo ya algún tiempo planteándome este objetivo y ciertamente, he sido muy inconstante con él. Aunque puedo perfectamente leer muchos escritos en inglés, puedo incluso lograr entender parte de las conversaciones, bien sea en películas, videos o podcast, el expresarme correctamente en este idioma es una necesidad. Esto además, de que va en concordancia con la meta que sigue y que la haría mucho más fácil de lograr. Para ello, llevo ya algún tiempo trabajando en dos plataformas de aprendizaje del idioma inglés y creo que con más dedicación, lo podré lograr. Espero el año que viene, poder realizar una publicación igual a esta, pero en vídeo y en inglés.

3.- Learning English

I have been thinking about this goal for some time now and certainly, I have been very inconsistent with it. Although I can perfectly read many writings in English, I can even manage to understand part of the conversations, either in movies, videos, or podcasts, expressing myself correctly in this language is a necessity. This is also in line with the goal that follows and would make it much easier to achieve. For this, I have been working for some time now on two English language learning platforms and I believe that with more dedication, I will be able to achieve it. I hope that next year, I will be able to make a publication like this one, but in video and in English.

4.- Programación

Siempre me ha fascinado el universo de las tecnologías. Mis inicios en el mundo de la programación fueron desde muy joven y logré escribir algunos códigos en ese tiempo. Luego, al avanzar los años y el construir mi vida familiar y personal, me llevo por otros caminos y lo deje del todo. Hace algunos años atrás, me involucré de lleno en el área del diseño web y aprendí muchísimo sobre creación de páginas web, HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, el manejo de servidores y el alojamiento de sitios web. Incluso llegué a tener alguna que otra página en línea, construidas con todo lo que aprendí, pero de nuevo, los avatares de la vida me alejaron un poco. Este año, quiero involucrarme con estos objetivos, de aprender sobre todo, la parte técnica de la blockchain y quizás construir algo dentro de nuestra cadena de bloques. Y siento que voy por buen camino.

4.- Programming

I have always been fascinated by the universe of technologies. My beginnings in the world of programming were at a very young age and I managed to write some code at that time. Then, as the years went by and I built my family and personal life, I took other paths and left it altogether. A few years ago, I got fully involved in the web design area and learned a lot about web page creation, HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, server management, and website hosting. I even got to have a few pages online, built with everything I learned, but again, the vicissitudes of life took me away a bit. This year, I want to get involved with these goals, to learn most, the technical side of blockchain and maybe build something within our blockchain. And I feel like I'm on the right track.

5.- Emigrar

Este es un objetivo que pueda que no lo termine este mismo año. Pero es un planteamiento que tiene que tomar forma definitiva en este 2022. Amo a mi país y no lo cambiaría por ningún otro. Pero, lamentablemente el futuro que se nos avecina, no es nada alentador. En mi país, más que vivir, tenemos muy mala calidad de vida. Los servicios públicos, nuestra libertad personal, nuestra seguridad y nuestra economía, tanto a nivel general como personal, penden en todo momento de un incierto. Es una Espada de Damocles que no sabemos cuando caerá y destruirá todo. Pero estoy convencido, de que hasta que no se logre un verdadero cambio, muy profundo sobre todo, en el más amplio aspecto de lo social, la política y los entes gubernamentales, no existirá un futuro seguro. Sin embargo, tampoco quiero salir a pasar trabajo o depender de otros a donde me vaya. Así que son muchos los factores de los que depende esta meta y que poco a poco los he ido trabajando.

5.- Emigrate

This is an objective that may not be completed this year. But it is an approach that has to take definitive shape in 2022. I love my country and I would not change it for any other. But, unfortunately, the future that lies ahead of us is not at all encouraging. In my country, more than living, we have a very poor quality of life. Public services, our personal freedom, our security, and our economy, both at a general and personal level, hang in the balance at all times. It is a Sword of Damocles that we do not know when it will fall and destroy everything. But I am convinced that until a real change is achieved, a very deep change, especially in the broadest aspect of social, political, and governmental entities, there will be no secure future. However, I also do not want to go out to work or depend on others wherever I go. So there are many factors on which this goal depends and I have been working on them little by little.

Quizás parezca que estoy apuntando demasiado alto. Pero, este 2021 me demostró que, cuando realmente queremos trascender, todo es posible. Tenemos un lugar fantástico dentro de esta cadena de bloques para construir sueños. La misma tecnología blockchain nos ofrece un sin número de alternativas y posibilidades que simplemente debemos conocer, aprender, implementar y aprovechar al máximo. Estoy confiado y estoy decidido a hacer de este nuevo año 2022, el año definitivo en mi vida. Y si crees que te identificas con algunas de estas metas o tienes otras, quizás más grandes o tal vez más modestas, no dudes de unirte a la comunidad @holos-lotus y compartir tus objetivos en esta iniciativa, para lo cual visita esta publicación. TMaybe I seem to be aiming too high. But, this 2021 showed me that, when we really want to transcend, anything is possible. We have a fantastic place within this blockchain to build dreams. Blockchain technology itself offers us a myriad of alternatives and possibilities that we simply must know, learn, implement and take full advantage of. I am confident and I am determined to make this new year 2022, the definitive year in my life.
