La lluvia para mi representa cambio, abundancia y crecimiento, y, estos aspectos los podemos notar de manera directa cuando se inician las lluvias, los árboles cambian su follaje, crecen nuevos árboles silvestres, las montañas parecieran que estuvieran un gran manto verde oscuro, es decir hay vida.

Cuando se producen las precipitaciones debemos pensar en lo importante que esto representa para nuestra vida, porque con esta agua es que se llenan los embalses de donde surten a las ciudades, es por ello que en esas temporadas de grandes sequias y esos estanques llegan a niveles críticos podemos tener problemas con el servicio no solamente de agua sino también de electricidad, ya que las turbinas que funcionan en las represas necesitan que los alturas de agua se mantengan a ciertos niveles de tolerancia para su funcionamiento.

Soy de un estado donde esta instalad la mayor y más importante represa del país y la he visitado en muchas oportunidades, lo cual me parece una obra maravillosa de la ingeniería, con un lago inmenso que requiere por supuesto de muchas precipitaciones para mantenerse a buen nivel, porque para ello existen las compuertas como aliviadero para el momento que el lago alcanza una cierta altura máxima; cuando esas compuertas están abiertas se puede presenciar en el sitio un verdadero espectáculo de caída de agua, todo gracias a las lluvias.

Recuerdo en mi época de estudiante universitaria, en la ciudad donde estudiaba se dio en una oportunidad que empezó una pequeña lluvia como a las 10 de la noche, como media hora estaría lloviendo, luego empezaron relámpagos y truenos que estuvieron a lo largo de casi toda la noche hasta el amanecer como a las 4 de la mañana fue que vino a cesar la tormenta eléctrica.

Ese día en la universidad lo ocurrido esa noche fue el comentario generalizado, porque en mi caso no pude dormir, en la residencia las demás compañeras también estaban despiertas, y era el caso más extraño porque no hubo precipitaciones en ese lapso de tormentas eléctricas, pero nos daba mucho miedo porque en la casa de residencia había muchos árboles y uno de mamón que era inmenso, y existía la creencia que ese tipo de árboles atraían los rayos.

En otra oportunidad, con una compañera de la residencia saliendo de la universidad empezó una llovizna, pero como vivíamos relativamente muy cerca de la universidad, decidimos seguir caminando, empezó a llover tan fuerte que llagamos a la residencia empapadas, y lo que hicimos fue quedarnos un rato más en el patio de la casa bañándonos con esa agua que caía del cielo, parecíamos dos colegialas, pero la verdad que disfrutamos ese baño e invitábamos a las demás diciéndoles que difícilmente nos bañaríamos en otra oportunidad con una agua tan pura, al menos que fuese de aguacero.

Particularmente contemplar un aguacero a través de una ventana de mi casa me da una sensación de relajamiento y de tranquilidad, que invita a leer un libro o quedarse en casa a producir algo, que puede ser un escrito o realizar algún proyecto que tenía planificado.

Seguiremos diciendo que no cesen las lluvias porque los campos, los ríos, las montañas, las plantas y todos los seres vivos necesitamos de ella para que continue la existencia.

I remember in my time as a university student, in the city where I studied there was an opportunity that began a small rain at about 10 o'clock at night, about half an hour it would be raining, then began lightning and thunder that lasted almost all night until dawn at about 4 o'clock in the morning was that the thunderstorm came to cease.

That day at the university what happened that night was the generalized comment, because in my case I could not sleep, in the residence the other classmates were also awake, and it was the strangest case because there was no precipitation in that period of thunderstorms, but we were very afraid because in the residence house there were many trees and a mamon tree that was huge, and there was the belief that such trees attracted lightning.

On another occasion, with a friend of mine from the residence leaving the university, it started to drizzle, but since we lived relatively close to the university, we decided to continue walking, it started to rain so hard that we arrived at the residence soaked, We looked like two schoolgirls, but the truth is that we enjoyed that bath and we invited the others telling them that we would hardly bathe another time with such pure water, unless it was a downpour.

Particularly contemplating a downpour through a window of my house gives me a feeling of relaxation and tranquility, which invites me to read a book or stay at home to produce something, which can be a writing or carry out a project I had planned.

We will continue to say that the rains will not stop because the fields, the rivers, the mountains, the plants and all living beings need it to continue their existence.
