Con mucha admiración he visto el caso de una anciana que asiste a la iglesia, es jubilada y durante más de 30 años se dedicó a la labor docente en las diferentes etapas (primaria hasta a universidad), le gusta trabajar en las actividades y proyectos de la iglesia y es muy activa, ama ir a la iglesia y ayudar en lo que puede, pero por su edad se le dificulta un poco caminar y avanza lentamente, lo cual no le impide asistir a cada servicio y cantar que es su pasión; su familia se ha involucrado en su bienestar y longevidad con calidad de vida, que su hija aún joven decidió jubilarse y trabajar desde casa para atender a su madre y apoyarla en lo que le gusta, la lleva a la iglesia muy temprano los domingos, está pendiente de su alimentación y le prepara variados y nutritivos platillos para que se alimente de forma balanceada y saludable, los nietos la cuidan con amor y dedicación.
María es una linda anciana que recibe el amor y atención de su familia, es la reina de la casa y siempre están pendientes de ella y como dice su hija: "Es la jefa hay que complacer sus caprichos y gustos, nos dio todo lo que pudo y es justo que ahora disfrute y tenga calidad de vida", es muy lindo ver como esta familia está comprometida en brindarle lo mejor que puedan a su mamá y abuela para que viva cómodamente, es a la vez un punto para reflexionar sobre la realidad de muchos abuelos que no cuentan con el apoyo de su familia y tienen que enfrentar solos situaciones críticas de alimentación y enfermedad; el amor, la empatía y compromiso con los abuelos es fundamental para que tengan calidad de vida y disfruten a plenitud su longevidad.
