A todos, de una manera u otra nos ha tocado defender a capa y espada lo que consideramos nuestro o justo. Entre frases, argumentos o hasta con las pripias garras nos fajamos para plantar posiciones.

Cualquier ámbito bien sea familiar, laboral, personal, comunitario, es propio para tomar la capa, la espada y vestirnos de héroes.

We all, in one way or another, have had to defend to the hilt what we consider ours or fair. Between phrases, arguments or even with our own claws we fight to plant positions.

Any area, be it family, work, personal, community, is the right place to take the cape, the sword and dress up as heroes.

Son muchos temas con los que en esta vida mía me ha tocado lidiar. Sin embargo, me gustaría compartir por acá una experiencia laboral.Lo he dicho en muchas oportunidades, la educación es un tema que me mata y me apasiona.

En un ensayo para poner en marcha la propuesta de un diseño curricular basado en enfoque por competencias me tocó demostrar cuán efectivo era.

Obviamente, cuando se ensaya un modelo curricular estamos hablando de una propuesta de alto impacto. No solo debe ser efectivo en una escuela especifica, sino que debe trascender para que tooodas las escuelas apliquen los mismos métodos y por enden, hagan seguimiento del impacto.

There are many issues that I have had to deal with in this life of mine. However, I would like to share here a work experience. I have said it many times, education is a subject that kills me and that I am passionate about.

In a trial to implement the proposal of a curriculum design based on a competency-based approach, I had to demonstrate how effective it was.

Obviously, when a curriculum model is tested we are talking about a high impact proposal. It should not only be effective in a specific school, it should be transcended so that all schools apply the same methods and, therefore, follow up on its impact.

Con este reto asumido junto a otros colegas aprendí que defender a capa y espada te da más herramienta para seguir aprendiendo. Tanto de los errores como de los aciertos se aprende y eso es lo más valioso e importante.

Diseñar una propuesta curricular no era un invento mío ni de mis colegas en mi centro educativo, era una propuesta ministerial, del Estado y nosotros estábamos dando respuesta.

Los niños para mi son sagrados, sus derechos a la educación deben ser respetados, la calidad educativa independientemente si es pública o privada debe brindar los mismos beneficios a cada uno de los estudiantes.

Los resultados fueron excelentes. Las ponencias de cada detalle abordado durante la gestión fueron admirados, resaltados y validados por otros expertos en materia.

These reasons were the impetus to achieve the objective. Once the first tasks were completed, it was time to measure and defend the impact of a year of hard work, but we did it.

We defended tooth and nail what we did at school with so much love, effort and dedication. We celebrated and savored the success with a loud voice, as we Venezuelans literally say.

The results were excellent. The presentations of every detail addressed during the management were admired, highlighted and validated by other experts in the field.
