He escuchado a muchas, pero muchas personas, quejarse de su nombre y puedo decir muy feliz, que no estoy entre ellos, siempre he amado mis dos nombres, en torno a ellos han surgido burlas, incluidos a veces los apellidos, pero la verdad nunca fue algo que me afectara, pues como ya mencioné, amo mis dos nombres, para quienes no lo saben mis nombres son Cristina de los Ángeles.
Ahora bien, mi querida madre fue quien eligió mis nombres, es cierto que ella esperaba un hijo varón, pero tomando previsiones estudio, sí, como lo leen, estudio que nombre darme en caso de que fuera niña y aunque salí del hospital vestida de azul, al nacer mi madre me dio estos nombres, ahora ¿Cómo lo eligió? Ella tenía un par de libro de nombres masculinos y femeninos que describían algo más allá de lo que significaba el nombre, este libro te describía las características de los mismos, es decir, lo que implica llamarse así, podríamos decir que son cosas implícitas al nombre, es decir, que vienen incluidas con él.
Al referirme a características, me refiero a que los nombres no son meras palabras lindas y sonoras, muchas veces al elegir nombre escuchamos a las personas decir, eso no pega, pero detrás de cada nombre hay una historia, un peso, características que vienen con él y que pueden definir en gran manera a la persona que lleva el nombre sea que muchos lo crean o no, implican hasta comportamientos y actitudes ante la vida.
De la misma manera, yo no recuerdo si encontré el libro o si le pregunte a mi madre los motivos de la elección de mis nombres, pero si recuerdo ver las combinaciones de nombre en una hoja y al preguntarle por qué descarto Montserrat, no recuerdo los otros que había en la lista, me dijo que tras estudiarlo a profundidad vio que implicaba muchas cosas fuertes y su decisión final para mi primer nombre fue el actual, obviamente no ha faltado quien me diga Cristiana en vez de Cristina o que digan que de Ángeles no tengo nada, pero de verdad me vale, por otro lado, como ya ha señalado la creadora de esta iniciativa @tibaire, nuestro nombre, es nuestra tarjeta de presentación y en algunas oportunidades quienes me rodean han conocido otras Cristinas quienes son buenas personas y afortunadamente solo una vez he sabido de una, a la que hasta el sol de hoy la recuerdan como muy mala persona y de hecho al llegar a la oficina me preguntaron si yo no tenía otro nombre para llamarme por ese, ya que a mi tocaya la consideran innombrable, al igual que a Lord Voldemort el de Harry Potter.
