Al hablar o escuchar que mencionan plantas medicinales, me hace pensar inmediatamente en mi madre, quien ama hacer lo que yo llamo brebajes, jajaja, en ellos suele usar varias plantas que tienen diversos beneficios y suele ocurrir que yo le pregunto si al mezclar tantas o varias, una no le restara valor o beneficios a otra y a veces caemos en escaramuzas, por mencionar que en mi opinión no debería mezclar tantas, recordando todo esto tenía que participar en esta iniciativa de 7° día y compartir mis experiencias, aprovecho también estas primeras líneas para invitar a participar mis queridas y apreciadas @brujita18 y @cirangela.

Ahora bien, no recuerdo desde cuando, pero siempre en casa se han tomado infusiones del famoso toronjil, sobre todo cuando comencé a estudiar lo que fue mi primera carrera universitaria, ya que me estrese tanto que no lograba dormir bien, estaba sumamente ansiosa y en algunos momentos llegue a vomitar, pues no lograba hacer la digestión, así que mi abuela y mi madre aprovecharon la cercanía de una planta de Toronjil que está en los jardines de la urbanización para ayudarme a relajarme, aliviar la ansiedad y el nerviosismo, así que en casa nunca falta que por lo menos una vez a la semana se haga un té o infusión de toronjil, además de que también me ayuda con mis problemas digestivos, pues sufro de gastritis erosiva y a veces siento un desagradable sabor amargo en mi boca, además de que cuando hay algún miembro de la familia con tos y algo de irritación la infusión de toronjil nos ayuda a reducir un poco los niveles de los mismos.

De la misma manera, otra planta que conocí de primera mano es la sábila, en los jardines de la Urbanización siempre se hubo, pero creo muchos ignorábamos algunos de los beneficios de esta planta, yo la conocí por una terrible quemadura en la palma de una de mis manos, con una plancha, esta plancha tenía el cable partido y a veces aunque uno la conectaba no calentaba y yo asumí que estaba fría y puse la palma de mi mano sobre ella y estaba tan, pero tan caliente, que los hoyos de vapor de la plancha, se veían claramente en mi palma, fue una quemada terrible y afortunadamente en ese momento estaba una compañera de la secundaria en casa con su madre y ella sabiamente nos señaló que lo mejor para eso era colocarme el cristal de sábila en la quemada, pues no me quedarían marcas y mi piel sanaría y así fue, no tengo ninguna cicatriz, ni marca de ese desagradable accidente.
